Sound Of White Jasmine

~ Day 4 ~

The lights flickered as they always do, tonight someone was obviously gonna die, everyone knew this by now. Though, that didn't make it any the less scarier. Everyone was scared for their lives except the murderer, especially Indah.

Indah was scared of almost everything, bugs, cats, clowns, even the slightest little sound made her jump. She was always complaining about how badly she wanted to go home back to her mother. Back to her family. Everyone else got quickly annoyed at her for this, it's not like they didn't miss their families too, they all did. But Indah complained nonstop, you could barely even have a normal conversation without her whining all the time. It was frustrating to listen to it the whole day, which is why some of the others went into separate rooms to get away from her. Except Haneen and Lilling. They were her actual friends. Well, Lilling sorta was. Indah had met Lilling on day 2 when she was grieving Omar. She comforted her and gave Indah some advice to help her deal with loss. So now, she considered her a friend.

When the lights were flickering, Indah noticed something was off. Usually, up until this point, she would hear a stabbing sound in the middle of the night. But tonight, she didn't hear anything. It was dead silent, the only sound that could be heard was the sound of the lights flickering on and off. The lights came back on and nobody had died. Everyone else seemed to notice this too, did the killer decide not to strike tonight? Or were they somehow dead themselves? The strange voice on the speaker knew that these were questions many of them had so it came on to explain.
"Hello contestants! I'm here to announce that you all will be continuing the game in a new location. I will come out to lead you to the new area in a few minutes."The voice said.
Everyone looked around at each other, they were a bit happy with this news. Obviously not overly happy because they still had to fight to their deaths but they would all finally be able to get some fresh air after staying inside for over 3 days. As well as a new place to explore.

The participants waited patiently by the front door. Indah was sitting down on the couch with Haneen and Lilling.
"What do you think this new place is going to be like?"Indah asked Haneen.
"I'm not sure, I just hope it's more open than this place."Haneen said.
CREEEK. Everyone turned their heads to see that the door had been opened. The 10 contestants ran outside, pushing and shoving people to get out of the house. Indah took in the fresh air the second it hit her face. It felt so good to be out of that dump, to finally be free. Well, to feel free, this was nowhere near the end of this horrific game.
Haneen looked around.
"Where is the person? The voice on the speaker?"She asked.
It seemed like others were wondering that too.
"Who cares?"Nikolai said, "That means we can get away from here before-"
Suddenly, a tree branch snapped. Everyone looked around at one another to see who had stepped on it but nobody did. It went silent. The group could hear footsteps coming from around the side of the house. Out came a person in a long black robe. They had a hood over their head and were wearing a white mask that covered their whole face.
"Hello."They greeted.
Nobody was brave enough to say hi back.
"Don't you think it's rude to ignore someone's greetings?"The person asked.
Everyone started saying hello after that.
"Good."They said, "Now, all of you, follow me!"
The ground followed the mysterious person down a dirt trail that went back around the house. It was dark out, pitch black, the only light was the lantern that the voice person held.
Indah was thinking about something while walking. What if she ran away? Just run over to the road infront of the house and scream for help? Surely someone would hear her and help her, then no one else would be hurt. But Indah didn't even try this, she knew if she did there would be serious consequences.
The robe person, voice person, whatever you want to call them stopped in the middle of an eerie forest.

"This is where you'll be staying."The person stated.
Everyone was surprised by this, they were all just going to be left here in the open? Where they can easily run away? This seems too good to be true.
"I know what you're all thinking."The voice person said, "But don't even try, I will not hesitate to kill any of you if you attempt to run away."
Indah got shivers down her spine. How is it possible to be this inhumane?
The person in the robe started to walk away, but Nikolai wanted to ask them a question.
"What's your name?"He asked.
The person turned around slowly.
"Liza. Call me Liza."They said.
"Liza."Indah thought, "I recognize that name."
Liza continued her walk into the darkness and now, the game was about to start again. There were lights attached to some of the trees in the forest, as well as small tents. Atleast none of them were going to freeze to death. Everyone gathered around the fire to keep warm for the night and so that no body wandered off.
The lights started to flicker, it went dark and like always, Indah heard a noise. The power came back on. This time, it was Halona that was killed. She was drowned in a well. Her journal said:
     "Aphrodite is evil.
     Dvir is neutral.
     Bailey is evil."
Now it was time to discuss.
"I have a feeling it might be Bailey."Kai said, "Halona said she's evil."
Bailey was sitting down on a log all by herself. She heard what Kai said but didn't bother to argue with them. She didn't care if she got voted out. So because of her carelessness, people didn't feel bad for voting for her when the time cams around. Bailey ended up with the most votes, her journal simply said:
"Goodbye."
Everyone was a bit bummed with her journal, they hoped that Bailey would've written down her role so they knew if they were getting close to eliminating the evil team or not, but whatever, they can ask Bailey that when they die. Then they will know when it's already too late.
