~ Day 8 ~

The lights came back on. Colleen was alive, some how. She hadn't been killed, she hadn't had her limbs cut into pieces and thrown into radioactive plasma. She...Survived, but how?
"Lilling has been killed by the clown."Liza announced over the speakers, "She was stuffed into the radioactive plasma."
Colleen turned her head towards the big container. Lilling's limbs were separated from her body and scattered in the strange yellow liquid. She was gone, at last.
Colleen started to cry, not out of despair necessarily but because she was alive. She was 1 out of the 2 people that survived this horrific thing. She would live to tell the tale, she would live to get Liza Franklin arrested and put behind bars for forcing them to participate in this. She can continue partying.
Colleen looked up.
"I love you Kai."She whispered, "I will join you someday in the far future. I promise."
Alicia looked up too.
"Bye Lilling."Alicia said, "Have fun burning in hell."
Colleen turned to Alicia. She hadn't gotten to know the girl very well but maybe after this they can become friends. Maybe Alicia can help Colleen get this whole operation shut down so nobody else will have to suffer like this. So no one will have to endure the same pain Colleen has gone through.
"The evil team has won."Liza stated.
But Colleen and Alicia were already walking down the stairs, leaving this place.

They walked out the front doors, through the forest and beside the house. They went down to the subway train and boarded it, together. Back they went to their normal lives, their homes. Colleen and Alicia walked up the subway stairs and came back up to the surface. There was her town, her beloved town.
Colleen stood on the sidewalk. She looked up at the Cosmo Club, where it all started. She started to cry, this time they were sad tears.
Alicia put a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry Colleen. We will make it through this, together."She said.
Colleen was still crying.
"We can do this Colleen, as long as we have each other."Alicia claimed, "Just trust me."
Alicia reached out for Colleen's hand, but Colleen was hesitant.
"I lost my best friend."Colleen stated, "I lost the person closest to me..."
"And you can make new friends."Alicia said, "You have me."
Colleen stopped crying.
"We will stick together. No matter what."Alicia claimed.
Colleen held onto Alicia's hand.
"Yes. We will."

Colleen and Alicia went to the police station that night, they told the officers everything and they promised to search the areas Colleen provided for them. The officers wanted Colleen specifically to come with them to the locations, which Colleen wasn't happy about. But she did it, she went with them back to that old, shitty house, back where William, Aphrodite, Omar, Dvir, Lukey, Charlie and Charlotte rested. Then she went with them to the woods where Halona, Bailey, Haneen, Kai, Nikolai, Dashawn and Indah rested. Then there was Area 8, where it was only Lilling that rested.
Colleen thought it was amazing she made it out alive. At the start of this there were 17 participants, now 15 of them are dead. That was crazy to think about, 15 innocent people's lives taken away from them, well minus Lilling's obviously.
After that, Colleen and Alicia continued their lives, they got interviewed on TV shows, had documentaries made about their journey and got tons of book deals. They became millionaires, even having multiple murder mystery movies made about them! It's crazy how such an awful experience can make you so much money. Colleen was set for life, which would make someone happy you'd think, but even after inquiring such big sums of money, Colleen was still unsatisfied. Not because Liza hadn't been caught or anything, Liza was eventually tracked down and sentenced to life in prison,

but because she couldn't stop thinking about Kai. Colleen would do anything to have Kai back, she'd give up all her money in a heartbeat if that meant Kai could be alive again. She loved a lot of the people she had met at that "murder mystery" party, Indah, Nikolai, Alicia, but especially Kai, she loved Kai more than anything. Colleen wanted to make sure nobody had to lose their best friend like she did, she would dedicate the rest of her life to make sure something like this never happens again. Dedicate it to getting justice for all the victims. She promised herself that, she promised Kai that.
