2 days later and it was the day of the biology exam, Jeongin woke up from his king-size bed.

Y/n.

Was for some reason the first thing he thought of. His first thought in the morning turned out to be, Y/n.

Oh, Y/n. How adorable you looked laying on that bed yesterday. Like an adorable little shortie.

This was all he could say to himself before his mind became a blur after Y/n randomly popped up into his mind.

He rubbed his eyes and ruffled his hair as he made his way to the bathroom.

As he brushed his teeth, he couldn't help but feel a mix of nervousness and excitement. He had been studying hard for this exam, and he knew he was prepared.

He obviously made it his mission to beat Y/n, like every time a test comes up. But this time, he didn't feel so competitive about it.

If it was the incident with Y/n when she studied to the point where she fainted, or when she unexpectedly expressed her emotions to him- he saw this exam as just something to work hard on for himself.

After getting ready, Jeongin headed downstairs to the kitchen of his luxurious house, only to find dirty dishes surrounding the sink.

"This was Abeoji wasn't it? As well as not knowing how to be loyal, he can't take it upon himself to wash his own goddamn dishes." Jeongin rolled his eyes at the thought of his lowlife father stepping foot into his house.

"Why was he even here anyway? Eomeoni told me she'd never welcome him into our household ever again."

Jeongin scoffed, as he frustratingly washed every last dish that his father has left in the sink. He then filled a glass with water, taking multiple gulps to reawaken his body.

"Pathetic. Big CEO man who's supposed to be smart about decisions for his company, about his wealth, about his actions." He chuckled.

"But instead he ends up wasting 16 years of my life." Jeongin says, almost growling with immense anger.

Now at school in homeroom, Jeongin sat in his seat beside Yongbok flirting across to Ryujin, everyone else in the class talking loudly as Jeongin drowned out the sounds around him.

Jeongin's arms rested heavily on the desk, the weight of his worry pressing down on it.

But he didn't show it, he maintained his iconic stern look that he was feared for.

His gaze was fixed on a point in a narrow distance, a blank canvas where his thoughts moved in chaotic patterns.

He couldn't get her of his mind. She was all he could think about. Only she resided in his mind unwillingly

He was so completely unsure why. He just knew, he couldn't just ignore it. But the question to him is, what exactly is he so unsure about Y/n?

This was something didn't know himself. He needed a second opinion on it. Someone who was experienced in the field of feelings and emotions.

Yongbok, noticing his friend's distress, tilted his head in concern. "What's wrong, Innie?" he says, his voice low enough to avoid Jia's watchful gaze.

Jeongin turned to him, his eyes wide and troubled. "I... don't know." he said, his voice monotonous."

Yongbok’s brow furrowed. He was majorly concerned, as calling Jeongin, 'Innie' would usually elicit a hard-core reaction out of him.

This time, he'd just continue gazing unemotionally at the wall, not even flinching at the nickname.

"About what?" He leaned in, his gaze unwavering. 'Tell me, I.N. You know I'm always here for you."

Jeongin hesitated, his fingers tightening around the pencil in his hand. "It's Y/n." he mumbled.

"Yah, has what me and Ryujin always thought would happen, really happen to you?"

"What do you mean?" He asked, breaking his gaze and turning to Bok, confused.

"Do you.. feel a certain way about Y/n?"

"I don't know what I feel, Bok."

"Ok, well. How about we play a game" Yongbok suggested, making Jeongin raise his eyebrow in confusion.

"So I'm going to tell you a topic, and you have to say a bunch of words in which reminds you of and represents that topic."

"Uhm-"

"You up for it?" Yongbok asked.

"Ok then." He replied hesitantly.

"Gimbap." Bok called out.

"Uh, round, filling, flavourful." Jeongin said.

"America."

"Taylor Swift and hotdogs." Jeongin replied nonchalantly.

"Ok, now- Y/n."

"Short, cute, funny, beautiful, intelligent, annoying, enticing, short- holy shit." He finally grasped as he almost exclaimed.

"I guess we have our answer then. And you said short twice." Yongbok said, folding his arms, feeling accomplishment from making his best friend realise his true feelings for Y/n.

"Hold on but, what exactly is the answer?"

"Yah, I thought you were smart Innie!"

"Don't call me that." He warned, switching up his mood unexpectedly.

"Oh, sorry, I.N."

"Yah, Bok tell me the answer!" Jeongin yelled, making the whole class halt their conversation.

They never would've thought to hear the Yang Jeongin yelling at someone to tell him the answer.

Soon they quickly lost interest in staring blankly at the two of them, before returning back to their useless speaking.

"I.N, do you seriously not know what this means?"

"No, that's why I'm asking you."

"Jeongin. You have just professed your feelings about Y/n to me. You told me of her beauty, her shortness which you find cute. You admire her intelligence as much as you value yours."

"Holy fuck. You're right Bok. Y/n really is painfully short. Which just adds to her irresistible cuteness."

"Congratulations Yang Jeongin. You have a crush! On your enemy-" Bok cheered, as he expressed his excitement openly.

"A- crush? Y/n's my crush?" He smiled, looking down at his desk as Mr Jun walked in.

"Ok class, please excuse me for being late, I had to walk my fish before I left for work." He joked, bringing the class to elicit chuckles around the room.

Before he could sit down at his desk,
Y/n swiftly walked in, making her way towards her seat beside Ryujin.

"Sorry Mr Jun, sir. There was a lot of traffic around which held me back a bit." She apologised, having a sad, pouty face on her look.

Jeongin immediately looked up when he noticed by the compelling voice who it was. He traced her body as she walked over to her seat a row infront of him, only a couple seats away from his seat.

How could anyone be mad at a face like that? She's a innocent pouty princess. But then again, she can be pretty bratty at times.

And especially annoying when having to work with her. But her cuteness makes up for it.

"That's ok Y/n. Have a seat, please." Mr Jun offered.

"Thank you sir." She thanked, taking a seat and giving a look of relief to Ryujin.

Lucky Mr Jun is a reasonable teacher-
