New Problems

Sonic is sleeping, or trying to, snuggling into his covers even more. He was glad that he had his break this past week,  just simply glad. And better, Mephiles hasn't murdered anyone yet, which led for Shadow and him to get some more clues. He has questions he had been wanting to ask Shadow, driving him mad almost. The blue hedgehog wondered who this cloaked stranger was. Who Asterius was...

How does Shadow know all of them anyway?

Sonic never questioned anything about Shadow, and simply knew the hedgehog was old, very old in G.U.N.'s case. And that has changed now, but he wouldn't bother Shadow at all. He didn't want to go finding stuff out that Shadow didn't want him to know. If Shadow wanted to say it he would.

"Sonic!" a voice screamed his name out.

Said hedgehog jumped out of his comfy bed and saw Tails in his doorway.

"Tails?" Sonic said, drowsily, still tired.

"Amy called me and said she needed help on defeating Eggman, said he just had suddenly attacked out of nowhere and that he may be after the Master Emerald," Tails went over to Sonic and handed him his communicator, "Why did you leave that on the counter by the way? Amy was trying to contact you."

"Oh..." Sonic blinked, tying his shoes on, "I guess I was more hooked on other things to think Eggman would ever attack."

"It's okay, I know G.U.N. has been getting on your back lately," Tails smiled, making Sonic smile back as well," But Knuckles needs our help. I'm going to get the plane ready. I'll be in the front."

As soon as the fox had said that, he ran outside of the room.

"Eggman must know I'm working for them..." Sonic said aloud to himself, "This may be a problem."

With his shoes on, he zoomed outside in time to see Tails lowering the plane down so Sonic could jump on the wing. Once on the wing he readied himself so he would not fall off, but before Tails could start flying, Sonic's watch beeped. It's wasn't from Amy, or someone get knew, it was from G.U.N.

"Sonic-" Said hedgehog heard the commander, but cut him off.

"Listen here, I have to help someone, so if it is an emergency, get Shadow!" He hissed and then shut down the watch, nodding to Tails to take off.

Tails looked back, shocked. The yellow fox didn't say anymore as he flew off, going straight to Angel Island.
