Noah's Point of View:
You can't change someones behavior, all you can do is remind them, and hope that Allah will change their heart.

She hadn't spoken a word ever since we last saw the woman and the man leaving. Nothing but silence. Her little brown eyes refused to meet mine and her mouth clamped shut. I picked her up, took her inside and waited for Alex to start the car. Grudgingly, he got inside the car and eyed her before letting out a sigh and starting the car.
"Where are you taking her?" I chose not to talk and shrugged.
"Just drive."
He kept his eyes on me for a second longer before he started the car and drove to the station. The bumpy road caused the little girl the swerve in her seat and she landed next to me and gasped. Fear outlined her face as I watched in wonder and pulled her close to my side. She looked at me for a second longer and rested her head in my lap and closed her eyes. I smiled in triumph and patted down her beautiful hair. There was something different about this girl and I knew I had to keep her close to me.
The only problem was I hadn't grown up with a kid. I was an only child, and Dad never spoiled me. I was born and raised to become a soldier so I had absolutely no clue when it came to raising little girls.
The car finally came to a stop and Alex got out. The snow was slowly subsiding and the sun was coming out, which I knew was a blessing. The little girl started to get up but I held her head down, picked her up and cradled her in my arms. I shrugged one of my jackets over her body to keep her somewhat hidden. She kept quiet before I felt her slowly get up in my arms and give me a kiss. I froze and watched as my eyes grew big and my mouth closed on instinct. Did she just-
"Thank you. For not killing me yet." I watched as she smiled and fell back into her sleep. The initial shock of what she had said stayed. She thought I was going to kill her? I continued walking until Wes and Daniel came towards me with shocked and amused grins on their faces.
"Dude, what the hell is that?"
Daniel snickered and pointed to her. "Who is she man? Please don't tell us you're a baby daddy already. I knew it would happen someday, but this early?" They both started to laugh. I rolled my eyes and placed my finger on my mouth to tell them to shut up. Wes nodded and came closer to me and whispered. "Who'd you knock up?"
I pushed him away while the others laughed and shook my head. I didn't really know what I was going to do with her, but I knew I wasn't going to let them find out who she was. Just then, General Matthew came over to us with a weird look on his face. "Now. I know kids just don't sprouts out of their mothers that big. How long have you been hoarding it here?"
My heart started to beat fast as he grew closer and closer to her. She began to stir and look around her when I shoved her head into my jacket. Alex, however, spoke before me. "She's this little girl-"
"-that just so happens to be my niece. My uncle is on a cruise so she had to stay with me." Alex stopped and raised an eyebrow at me. His eyes held something more than shock, but I chose to ignore it. The General looked between us before he turned to Alex and nudged him. "Is he telling the truth?"
Alex didn't hesitate this time, standing up straight and looking him in the eye. "Yes sir. It's his niece."
"General Bates didn't tell me he was an uncle. The old sport. Keep it safe, I'm not responsible for anything that happens to it." He nodded one last time and left the post.
An inaudible sigh of relief left my lips. Wes, Daniel and Alex gave me strange looks but I ignored them and made my way towards the apartment houses. I carried her into my apartment, laid her down on the bed and closed the door. I watched her nuzzle into the pillow and pull the blanket all the way up. That's when I noticed that the little girl looked exactly like the older one. They had everything the same except for her eyes. Hers were green and brown, while the little girl had dark brown eyes. I pushed her to the far end of the bed so she wouldn't fall and nearly jumped when the bedroom door opened.
