Young Barry gets out of bed and starts walking down the stairs.
Upon coming down the stairs, young Barry hears his mom.
"Henry! Henry!" Nora calls out, not knowing what was going on.
Walking closer, he sees his mom, trapped in a flash of yellow.
"Help!" Nora cries.
"Mom! Mom!" Barry screamed, afraid and confused.
"Barry, don't!" Nora held up her hand, telling her son to stay away. She didn't want him to get hurt too.
"Mom!" Barry took a step forward, intending on doing something when his mom screamed, "Don't let him touch you!"
"Mom! Mom!" Barry cried as he watched his mom be surrounded by yellow and red. He had a feeling that he was going to lose her.
and he did.
Barry woke up with a gasp. Eyes wide as he looks around his room. He took deep breaths before sighing and rubbing the bridge of his nose.
He grabbed his phone and saw a few missed calls from Val. Clicking on it, the most recent message she left began to play.
"Hey, Barry! You're late for work again. I tried calling to wake you up early but clearly that didn't work. You should really invest in a better alarm clock. Anyway, I just wanted to remind you to grab Joe's case file. Good luck, I hope Captain Singh doesn't chew you out too much."
Barry's eyes widen and he checks the time.
"Oh, I'm so dead." He said before hurriedly getting out of bed.

Barry quickly passes people, apologizing to those he almost hit with his large CSI kit.
Barry looked at his watch and started to run faster. His fast pace made him bump into someone, making them fall over. "Sorry, sorry!" Barry called out to him before continuing to run.
"CSI, CSI coming through." Barry said. He came just in time as he heard the Captain speak to Joe, his adoptive father. "If he's not here now, I'm gonna have to carry on this investigation without him." Captain Singh informed.
"Sorry I'm late, Captain Singh." Barry said, slightly out of breath but apologetic.
Captain Singh stared at his CSI, "What was it this time, Mr. Allen? Did you forget to set your alarm clock? Before you answer, I should remind you the excuse you gave last time was car trouble. Want to know why that one was particularly memorable?"
"I do not own a car." Barry responded, hoping his cheeks weren't pink.
Joe quickly intervened. "He was running an errand for me. Barry, did you get me what I asked for?"
Barry nods, "Yeah, yeah. I did. " He says as he reaches into his jacket.
"I have it right...Here." Barry says as he gives a small stack of files in a manila folder to Joe.
Captain Singh raised an eyebrow and Barry was quick to explain, "These are the files on the Mardon brothers. Joe left them at home."
Barry gets on the ground and observes the tire tracks. He notes multiple things. Rear super-wide tires, 12 inches, 12 inches with asymmetrical tread.
Barry gets up off the ground.
"Getaway car's a mustang shelby gt500." As Barry's talking, Joe writes it down in a notepad, looking astonished and proud.
