1.) Ash totally scoops out margarine with no utensils. No spoon, no butter knife, just fingers. He does it because he doesn't wanna have to clean an extra piece of silverware.
The first time Eiji became privy to this information was when Ash was cooking some pancakes in the morning and took out the tub of margarine from the fridge. Eiji, who was standing closer to the silverware drawer, immediately opens to fetch Ash a butter knife. He turns around, and what do you know, Ash is wrist-deep in the tub and just scoops it out with his knuckle like that's how it was intended to be used.
2.) I like the idea of Eiji gifting Ash a piece of jewelry like a necklace or a ring with a deep brown gemstone of some sorts inlaid within it as a declaration of Ash being the only one his gaze belongs to. It's a somewhat subtle declaration of love, desire, and a willingness to protect someone dear to you because since that's the color of Eiji's eyes, Ash would always hold the warmth of Eiji's gaze with him as he wears the piece :(((((
This combined with the way that all of Eiji's photos of him hold a nostalgic warmth within them, like all of Ash's natural beauties on the outside are amplified thru Eiji's camera lens due to the love flowing from viewer to subject... oh i'm ill. The tenderest, most private and walled-off parts of Ash's soul are just laid bare when captured through Eiji's eyes.
If Eiji ever did gift him something like that, Ash just might forget the feeling of being unloved for the rest of eternity :P
