"You are wishing for all the wrong things." said Ahn-soo in small voice.

"Wishing for love, to be loved and accepted whole heartily is wrong?" asked back Jiwook, hurt and pain dripping from his voice and eyes as he clenched the bottle in his hand, his eyes set into hard glare.

Ahn-soo bit his lip seeing glare directed towards him.

"No., wishing for love, seeking love is not wrong but giving up is wrong, and that's what you are doing right now." he expressed his thoughts in calm and gentle voice.

"Most of the time things doesn't work out the way we wish, but that's never end of it, mostly, even better is stored for us in the package called life. So we should never give up, never lose hope."

Ahn-soo said as he walked over to stove and stirred the boiling soup he had put on the stove previously.

"I should never lose hope, you say.. !" he let out a bitter chuckle before continuing. "Only to get it crushed harshly, only to be criticized and left behind over and over again." those words seemed to sarcastic but the not so hidden pain and longing was clear in those words.

Ahn-soo wanted to say something but before that he heard Jiwook's phone ringing, and again Jiwook didn't made any attempt to pick the phone. Ahn-soo sighed before he walked over to grab phone. He answered after seeing it was Jiwook's dad.

"We're in front of the apartment but no one is answering the door." he heard Jiwook's dad saying as soon a he answered the phone and it seemed he was already aware that Jiwook wasn't the one to answer the phone.

"Wait a second uncle." he said as he was already walking toward the door to open and soon he saw three figures. Two men near sixties, yet seemed fit and healthy, and a girl around 10 was sleeping on Choi Ha-shik's shoulder, as he was holding her in his arms, standing in front of Jiwook's apartment.

"Uhm..! Uncle Choi, Uncle Min..." he spoke a little hesitately. Both men looked at him. "You are..? " asked Mr Choi with raised eyebrow. Ahn-soo bowed in front of both men before standing straight to answer the quiry, the confusion was evident on both of their faces.

"Hello uncle, I'm Ahn-soo, Lee Ahn-soo..!" he introduced himself properly.

"Ahn-soo?" said the taller man, Choi Ha-shik, a little surprised.

"Please come this way uncle." Ahn-soo signaled toward his own apartment leading both men to his apartment, who followed him.

"How is Jiwookie? What happened to him?" asked Min Jihan, as Ahn-soo leads them into the apartment. Just as he inquired about his son, his eyes landed on the slumped figure against kitchen island. Without waiting for Ahn-soo's reply Jihan walked towards the figure, with fast steps, knowing very well, he was his beloved son.

"Jiwookie..." He let out lovingly as he approached him. Just as he stood beside his son, he raised his head in response to loving voice of his father. Jihan's worries reached to its peak when he saw the devastated condition of his son.

"Oh my gosh! Ji... Love?" he was quick to wipe the running tears against his son's cheeks who broke into sobs badly at the sight of his father. Jihan's heart sunk at the sight as his heart wrenched hearing loud sobs of Jiwook.

"She left dad. She left me..." Ahn-soo heard Jiwook's muffled voice who had his head buried in father's stomach who stood holding his son tightly. Jiwook's sobs made his heart sink. He gulped down the heavy feeling in his throat and looked away. He noticed Choi Ha-shik taking steps toward the father son duo along with the little girl still sleeping on his shoulder.

"Unm.. Uncle!" he hesitately stopped the older man. When the man looked at him questioningly he suggested to let the young girl sleep in bedroom, to not disturb her sleep. Mr Choi agreed, and tucked his daughter in bed in guest room which Ahn-soo showed him before finally approaching his son.

Ahn-soo felt awkward, felt like he was invading private moment of the family. Both father of Jiwook were trying to calm the sobbing man. But he still walked in kitchen and grabbed three glasses of water and leaving it on kitchen island before going to stove to stir the soup. He could hear muffled mumbles of Jiwook who was repeating something again and again, about someone left him and that no one loves him, never loved. The soup was cooked well by now so he put it in a bowl. He saw Min Jihan was making Jiwook drink some water. Ahn-soo cleared his throat as he approached the trio. Min Jihan and Choi Ha-shik looked at Ahn-soo.

"Uhm! Uncles I'm sorry to interrupt, but I have cooked some soup for him, I'm afraid he hasn't eaten since long, maybe since Friday.." this statement made both men shocked. Min Jihan let out a defeated sigh.

"I'm such a bad father. How couldn't I realize that something was wrong?" Ahn-soo bit his lower lip not knowing what to say. Min Jihan took tray from his hands saying he'll feed Jiwook after wiping his own tears that had made their way out of his eyes seeing devastated condition of his beloved son.

"I'll be in my room uncle. If you need anything please feel free to let me know." Ahn-soo told both men wanting to give the family privacy. After getting a small nod from Mr Choi, Ahn-soo left from there not before bowing respectfully.

After about half an hour of being in his bedroom Ahn-soo heard a small knock on his door. He opened the door to see Mr Choi.

"Can I come in?" he asked to which Ahn-soo nodded hesitantly, when Mr Choi entered into room, he left the door open, Ahn-soo could see Jiwook was leaning against his father, Min Jihan as they both sat in the living room. Mr Min was running his hand in Jiwook's hair. Ahn-soo walked back to his room and Mr Choi was seated on armchair placed in his room. Ahn-soo took the other one.

"We're extremely sorry that you have to be bothered till this late, son." he spoke thoughtfully.

"No it's fine uncle. I'm not bothered at all. I just wish he is fine." Ahn-soo expressed his feeling genuinely. He somehow didn't feel bothered even though on normal day, he would have felt bothered for being forced to stay awake till this late, after all the tiring day. It was past mid night and he loved sleeping. But right now all he could think was well being of Choi Jiwook.

"Ahn-soo-ah, can you tell me what really happened?" Mr Choi asked.

Ahn-soo wetted his lips before speaking, "Uncle Choi actually I don't know much, but.. Jiwook is having very disturbing thoughts. Last night around 2, I concidently found him on rooftop and he was drunk... and was trying to end his life." Ahn-soo filled with all the information about what he saw and Jiwook's behavior that he noticed. "I couldn't leave him alone after knowing his disturbed condition."

"Thankyou Ahn-soo-ah. I'm so grateful, thank you for taking care of my son when he needed it most." Mr Choi expressed his gratitude after digesting the information given by Ahn-soo.

"I didn't do much uncle. I did what anyone else could have." Ahn-soo said.

"Not many would do the same Ahn-soo-ah. What you did really mean a lot to me and Jihan." he gave a appreciative pat on Ahn-soo's shoulder as he stood up. Ahn-soo gave a small but genuine smile. They both walked out of the room to see Jiwook sleeping soundly with his head resting on Mr Min's lap. Bowl of the soup was empty. Mr Min's eyes were glossy. Ahn-soo could tell Jiwook's condition affected both his fathers a lot.
