Paulus Hook, New Jersey, 1801
I arrive on the scene once again right as the person I'm looking for gets shot. Great. That's definatly what I wanted to see. I rush over before anyone else can and pick him up. I look to my left to see Philip's second staring at me suprised. I give him a nod before turning to George Eacker and sticking up my middle finger. His face goes from shocked to offended and I disappear before he can say anything. Once back in my time, I lower Philip to the ground to lay next to John. He's still awake and stares up at me with wide eyes. It's crazy how much he looks like Alexander.
"You're alright, just go to sleep, I promise you'll wake up again."
Damn, that sounds creepy, I'm not good with words. He didn't seem fazed by it though.
"If you are sure, then I shall sleep."
He fell asleep in a few seconds. Oof, that one was hard and I already know that the next one isn't going to be any easier.
Albany, New York, 1801
I once again appear in a bedroom. A common theme but I'm secretly thankful for it. Better this then a war zone. This one's quick and easy as Peggy's asleep and there's no one else in the room. I easily swoop the woman up and go back to my time. I lower her to the floor as I've done the others. Time to get the next person - someone I still need to apologise to.
Mount Vernon, Virginia, 1802
I appear back in Martha and George Washington's bedroom - although it would have only been Martha's for the past 3 years. She's lying in bed; pale. Died of a fever so that's kinda to be expected. I pick her up and take her to my time. I gently lay her on the floor next to her husband. I'm about to go get the next person when I stop.
"Sorry, that was rude of me to just appear out of nowhere, take your husband and leave. I hope you can forgive me."
Even though I was pretty sure she had already passed away, I still thought I heard her say,
"That is quite alright, as I have already forgiven you."
Weehawken, New Jersey, 1804
I appear back on the battlefield; not too far away from where Philip was shot. I watch Alexander fall down like a bag of bricks after Burr shoots him. He looks smug, eugh. (No hate to Burr fans) Just like with Philip, I rush over before anyone else can get to him. I look around to see Pendleton staring at me and - holy crap for a second there I coulda sworn I'd seen John's ghost. Anyway, I turn back around to look at Burr who's staring at me with his mouth open. So of course me being me yelled,
"Close your mouth Burr! You're not a codfish!"
Before again disappearing back to my time. Alexander opens his mouth to say something.
"I swear if you say anything, I'll tell Eliza about your other affair."
He quickly shut his mouth before his face contorted in pain. Couldn't blame him, he just got shot. I was suprised that Philip was as put together as he was. I make Alexander lay down on the other side of John. Before knocking him out. And no not with my fists, with my extra random magic. I'd say so far I'm doing well, only 12 people left.
AN: Yay! Another chapter done and in the same night! At this point I'll probably write at least another chapter tonight and hopefully publish it. Bye my lovelies! - Iz
