In 'The Room':
Alexander pulled Eliza into the room and the two looked around. All there was, was a small table and two chairs. Alexander walked over and pulled out one of the chairs and motioned for Eliza to sit on it. She walked over and sat down as Alex walked around to the other side of the table and sat down on the other chair.
The two sat in silence; Eliza staring at Alex while he stared at his feet. Eliza was about to speak when Alexander spoke first.
Alex: Why? Why ... why did you forgive me? After I cheated on you, told everyone, got Pip killed ...
Eliza reaches over and grabs his hand. She sighs.
Eliza: I don't know.
Alex: ...don't know what?
Eliza: I don't know why I forgave you. And I don't why I still forgive you. I know I should be mad at you, and I am mad at you, but I ... can't bring myself to hate you Alexander.
He looked up at her. She smiled sadly.
Eliza: What you did broke my heart. To think you would do that to me.
She sighed again.
Eliza: I don't know. But I do know that I forgive you, even if you think you don't deserve to be forgiven, and honestly, you might be right, but I still do. And I know that Pip would never blame you for his death. Neither does Angie, or any of our other children. It was a mistake. A mistake that we sadly couldn't fix, but that's what it was. A mistake.
Eliza brought his hand up to her face.
Eliza: And mistakes can be learned from. I forgive Alexander.
She smiles and gently kisses his hand. Alex wiped away any tears that had fallen during Eliza's beautiful speech.
Alex: Thank you. I know I don't deserve you but thank you for staying with me.
Eliza: Of course. Do you want to go back out?
Alex stood up, smiled and offered her his hand. She grabbed it and stood up. The two walked back outside.
AN: Hello! I'm sorry, I know it's been ages since I last updated and this chapter is short, I've been busy. Hope you enjoyed the chapter, Eliza and Hammy are having their chat and therefore won't be in the next chapter, sorry! But that also means thankfully less fights. But anyway, next chapter soon!
