Atlantic Ocean, 1813
I arrive on a boat and immediately slip as the boat tips to the side. Damn. I get up and look around for Theo Jr. while trying to keep my balance. I can't see her anywhere, unless... (unless? If I can prove that I never broke the law, do you promise not to tell another soul what you saw? I'm sorry, I'll stop) I dive over the edge of the boat and land in the ocean which proved to be a bad idea as it was freezing. Dammit, I forgot that in January it was winter in America. I'm barely able to look around as the salty water stings my eyes. I close my eyes for a second before a piece of timber hits my back and pushes me downwards. It shocked me so much that I let out all of the air I was holding in my lungs. Great, now I've got even less time. The piece of timber might have been a saving grace though as I quite literally bump into Theo. I manage to push the timber off, grab her and get back to my time. I take a heaving breath once I'm back and conveniently dry. I lay Theo next to her mother before going to get the ninth person.
Manhattan, New York, 1814
Again, I appear in a bedroom. (or at least I assume so, I actually couldn't find a lot of information of how Angelica died, so I'm just going to go with old age as 58 was considered old back then) Angelica Schuyler Church, died of old age. A peaceful way to go, a nice change of pace from the last two. As with her younger sister, I easily pick her up and take her back to my time. I lay her next to said sister before going to get the next person; someone I have to travel to the United Kingdom to get.
Windsor Castle, Windsor, 1820
(I know this is random but, not-so-fun fact: the King died deaf, blind and mad. Also I forgot to mention this in the first chapter and am too lazy to go back and put it there: another possible reason for his madness is arsenic poisoning but there isn't a lot of proof)
I appear this time in an awfully extravagant bedroom. Dang, now I want this is my room. I move as quietly as possible over to his bedside in case there are guards outside the room. Seeing as this is a castle I wouldn't be surprised if there were. I pick up the blind, deaf and crazy king before skedaddling before the guards could catch me. I lay the King further away from the others; mostly so Alexander doesn't try to kill him as soon as they wake up. That's ten down; nine to go. Time to go get our fav spy on the inside.
New York City, 1825
The next perpritrator (sorry guys, I can't spell for crap): died of old age. Most of the people that I'm getting past this point did. Once again, simple and easy. Grab, time travel, lay down, get ready to get next person. The next person happened basically the same way.
Monticello, Virginia, 1826
I again arrive in a bedroom. The only eerie thing about Thomas' death is that it happened on the fiftieth anniversary of the 4th of July day (I'm sorry, I forgot what it's called) and that John Adams died on this day too. Coincidence?.... Anyway, like last time: grab, time travel, lay him down far far away from Alexander, get ready to get next person.
AN: Sorry if this one is shorter than the others, I say that like I don't know for sure that this one is shorter than the others, but I didn't know what to put. It's actually easier to write battlefield deaths cause then at least somethings happening. But I will persevere! If you're reading this and happen to be American, correct me on any holidays that I get wrong cause seriously, what's the 4th of July called? Or is it just called the 4th of July? As I'm writing this I realise I'm super dumb and it's Independence Day. Whoops. Anyways bye! - IZ
