What Next for Rocksteady?

I know I'm really late but I want to express my thoughts on it.

Behind the Scenes

Jason posted an article about Rocksteady behind the scenes of Suicide Squad. It start off when WB monteral is working on a Suicide Squad game. I talk about this before. It was supposed to be in the Arkhamverse game. And it also supposed to be a sequel to Arkham Origins. It was given to the founder of Rocksteady Sefton Hill and Jamie Walker. Sefton Hill saw an opportunity to make a "evolvement" of the game.he scrapped everything and decided to make it into his own image. However they were hiring people secretly to Rocksteady but later left out knowing it going to be a multiplayer live service and looter shooter puzzle game. Even the members of Rocksteady knows it not going to turn out well, they wonder why take Captain Boomerang who use his iconic weapons into using guns. The members of Rocksteady don't know any knowledge of multiplayer game or live service. It took years of development and delays. Sefton Hill is struggling to make it using his different ideas. At first he thought they would have a vehicle system why the squad will be riding like a motorcycle as a traversal. But months later it was scrapped. And finally the founders announced they will be leaving the studio which shock them and looking for "new adventure". So the REAL MAIN reason it fail because it was constantly shifting vision, perfectionism and genre pivot. While their some issue like SBI for example. Surprising, they were actually barely involved with the game since it was almost done. And Sefton Hill is responsible for like everything in the game we have today.

What next for Rocksteady?

1. Director cut

Rocksteady is working on a direction cut for Hogwarts Legacy. I don't know what it is at first until I found out that it additional gameplay and modes.

2. New Rocksteady pitch Single Player game

Rocksteady is going back to Single Player After Suicide Squad. They are pitching a game hopping to bring Rocksteady back to it roots and revive Arkham. I found it interesting and exciting that they are going to back because that their strength. And I hope this isn't another Batman game because we got a lot already. Give at least 1 dc character besides Wonder Woman to shine. But the main thing I want is for they are going to get Arkham back to it roots again.

3. Skeleton Crew

You maybe wonder what about the game now. Well while most of employees working director cut for Hogwarts Legacy. The "skeleton" crew is working on the game. I think you know what I mean by skeleton crew.

Season 5 becoming season 4?

So recently Miller Ross post another leak of the game and it far more interesting from what I seeing. As we all already know the game is wrapping up someday. So here are what is going to be about.

Season 2 delay?

So today is Thursday. I notice their haven't been announcement yet. You see when Season 1 announced. It was announced the week before launch. And the timer of the battle pass is July 4 for the new one. However there were no announcement. So it got me thinking season 2 is delay. Not only that but the Skeleton crew working on the game so it probably that.

Season 2 peak

So while there is no announcement or any information about season 2. There is a teaser I found and I think I can show you guys since they posted on Instagram and Tik Tok. So watch the video.

So I think that is it. I will wait for any announcement for Season 2. I will be keeping more updates to see what I can find. Until then that is all. See ya.
