Chapter 5- Heavens halo's/12 weeks

Pilby twisted and turned in his sleep,he dreamed of a quiet meadow,Mach and him were having a picnic,as well as they're child running around barefoot,grass on their feet as they played,and pranced around.

Pilby watched as Mach smiled,filled with hope,hope of what they're child would grow up as,as well as they seem to be growing up just fine.

Pilby realised the sudden change,then it all turned pitch black,red eyes with yellow spirals stared at him.

A voice called out to him.

"What a nice dream,it's very sweet of you" The voice called out.

"What?" Pilby said in fear,he coward.

Soon Folly made real,smoke filling the air as they appeared in front of him,the dream parasite cocked their head to the side.

"You're really foolish to think you would end up with a happy life with her,for what?" Folly giggled. "Think about it,you and Mach have the kid,but Mach is away most of the time isn't she? so your stuck with a baby,who knows" Folly crossed their arms eye glaring at him.

Pilby wanted to say something,anything really,but he was chocked up,he felt like crying,Mach wouldn't leave him on hours on end with the baby right? she's not that busy.

Folly leaned closer face to face with him,her sharp claws grabbing Pilby by the chin,he cried out,by the sharp and painful motion,staring right at her in fear.

"It's so cute seeing you scared,seeing you wriggle around in fear,Mach can't protect you now" Folly egged on,watching as Pilby squirmed.

Then.

Pilby woke up.

Pilby woke up in his bed,quickly looking around for Mach.

Mach was right next to him,they had moved some stuff out of Pilby's room   and into Mach's,deciding Pilby's room would be the best place to set up the baby's room,only what remained was Pilby's bed (which would be used when the baby got a little bit more older) Pilby watched Mach's slow breathing,in and out,in and out.

Mach opened her eyes to Pilby's scared look,she sprung up as she sat up to comfort the Caterpillar,Pilby brushed her hand's away but ultimately gave in,sobbing into her arm's.

Pilby noticed Mach's sudden change,Mach looked pissed,like she was going to hurt who she thought was hurting him,Pilby had a rough idea she knew who it was.

Mach gently got up,adjusting her leggings and shirt to help make it less looking like a ugly mood out of bed to serious,as well as some comfort to the growing bump.

Pilby watched as Mach stormed out of the OFFICEOF area.

MR turned his head stone face around when Mach burs-ted in,fuming,MR looked concerned.

"Is everything okay Caroline? you seem to have something on your mind" MR said.

"Folly's been playing around with my husband,he was shaking and sobbing when i woke up" Mach said,sitting down,her body was too tired right now.

MR hummed as he sipped his cup of coffee,the time read '6:17am'.

"I get you are upset,but i will have a word with them later,right now i think it's best you take some time to relax before your appointment with the fur ball later"MR said with a sigh.

Mach hummed at the nickname MR gave to DRRETRO it was quite amusing really,watching both of them get along somehow to help Mach,she appreciated it,she needed all the help she could get,especially from MR,he was the best case to go to for help since he's had stuff like this before,as well as DRRETRO could help her as well,as her doctor.

Mach walked to the gumball place walking in through the secret gateway and looked ahead,seeing DRRETRO talking to Split,Wallter and Bive about something,weird.

Mach sat in the waiting room,looking around and seeing Infected sitting down.

"Surprise to see you here for once in your life." Mach commented.

"Lamp3rt sn1tch3d 0n m3 t0 h1s dad that 1 wasn't tak1ng my m3d's aga1n" Infected said in a blurry tone before sneezing,Mach sighed.

"And why is Split and Bive with him?" Mach questioned.

"S0m3th1ng ab0ut 1f B1v3 and spl1t can hav3 k1d's??? 1 d0n't kn0w m8" Infected coughed out.

Mach hummed as Wallter left and walked to Mach.

"Ah,Caroline,what a pleasant surprise" Wallter greeted her.

"Wallter,how's you and Mark doing?" Mach questioned back.

"Slowly getting there,no fights for now and i'm getting sober from the grey stuff." Wallter chuckled hand gently scratching the back of his head, "which remind's me,congrats to you and Pilby on this special occasion,Mark found some old baby clothes of Lampert's that are still in good condition,Mark said he'll drop them off in 2 weeks but oh,me and Mark couldn't stop crying on how precious they were still." Wallter metaphorically wiped a tear.

"Thank you for the help Wallter,trust me,they're going in good hands,i bet me and Pilby will love them" Mach said twiddling her hammer a bit.

As Wallter and Infected left,Mach watched as Split and Bive left too with a few bits,adoption pan flits,help on conceiving,mostly all just help,Mach understood Bive being trans from a lab made male to what she identified to now as a women was going to be a semi-struggle upon them being a family,but she wished them the best of luck,and support.

Mach entered DR RETRO'S office and sat down,the cat purred at her arrival,doing the usual of things,the cat meowed politely for Mach to lay down,Pilby wasn't here today though,but Mach will make sure to get pictures of the ultrasound.

Gently squishing the jelly on her stomach and placing the wand,Mach hummed to the sight of the baby,a pleasant hum,the cat explained that mostly everything was formed now,but now the baby needed time to grow and get big.

Which to Mach's mind she thought of poor Pilby trying to hold a heavy baby,as well as Mach's poor back would be trying to carry it.

Mach walked home,photo's in hand,the baby looked mostly like Mach by now,the baby was human but she thought of the cute mark's the baby would get of Pilby.

Mach felt butterfly's in her stomach,looking down confused and poking the bump,before the feeling returned.

She must have had something weird because no way in hell was that the baby.

Mach continued to walk home.

Folly looked from the tree's and cocked their head to the side.

They were going to have fun later.

Poor Mach wouldn't see this coming.
