Divyas pov:

After the match, I found myself being dragged back into the dressing room again. As I entered, I was greeted with the sight of a beautiful cake laid out on a table. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and celebration.

Abhimanyu smiled at me, his eyes twinkling with joy. "Come on, Divya. Let's cut the cake."

Together, we cut the cake and fed pieces to everyone, laughter and cheers filling the room. It was a moment of pure joy, a temporary escape from the complexities of our relationship. The team's camaraderie was infectious, and for a while, I felt like a part of their family.

After a while, the conversation shifted, and the team started discussing their plans for celebrating the victory. Arjun turned to me with a mischievous grin. "Divya, we're planning a trip to the beach tomorrow. You should come with us!"

I hesitated, knowing how complicated things were between Abhimanyu and me. "Oh, I don't know. I have some work to catch up on."

Deepak joined in, his expression earnest. "Come on, Divya. It'll be fun! We hardly get to relax like this."

The entire team started chiming in, urging me to join them. Their enthusiasm was hard to resist. "You have to come, Divya! It won't be the same without you!"

I glanced at Abhimanyu, who gave me a small nod. Despite everything, I could see that he wanted me there too. "Alright, alright. I'll come," I finally agreed, unable to deny them any longer.

The team erupted in cheers, clearly thrilled by my decision. "That's the spirit! It's going to be an amazing trip ."

As the excitement continued to build, I couldn't help but feel a mix of anticipation and nervousness. The beach trip promised to be an adventure, but it also meant spending more time with Abhimanyu and confronting the unresolved feelings between us. However, as I looked around at the happy faces of the team, I knew I couldn't back out now. The day was going to be memorable, one way or another.

Divya sat on her bed, her suitcase open in front of her. The soft moon light filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow on the room. She took a deep breath, trying to focus on the task at hand: packing for the trip.

She started with the basics, neatly folding her clothes and placing them in the suitcase. As she packed, her mind wandered to the events of the past few days. The unexpected reunion with Abhimanyu, the awkwardness of sharing a suite, and the quiet moments of understanding that had begun to bridge the gap between them.

A soft knock on the door pulled her out of her thoughts. She looked up to see Abhimanyu leaning against the doorframe, a small smile on his face.

"You ready?" he asked, glancing at her half-packed suitcase.

"Almost," she replied, returning his smile. "Just finishing up."

Abhimanyu walked into the room and sat on the edge of the bed, watching her pack. "Need any help?"

Divya shook her head. "No, I've got it. Thanks, though."

There was a comfortable silence as Divya continued packing. Abhimanyu watched her for a moment before speaking. "I know this trip might be a bit awkward, but I think it could be good for us."

Divya paused, looking at him. "Yeah, maybe it will be."

Abhimanyu smiled, encouraged by her response.

Divya chuckled softly, appreciating his attempt to lighten the mood. "I'll hold you to that."

With her suitcase finally packed, Divya closed it and stood up. "Okay, I'm ready."

Abhimanyu nodded, standing up as well. "Great. Let's head to sleep we have to wake up early ."

As he made his way towards his room , Divya felt a sense of anticipation. This trip was a chance to reconnect, not just with Abhimanyu, but with herself as well.
