Abhimanyu’s forceful presence ensured that Kavita and her father-in-law retreated without another word. Easha, still shaking with anger, hugged Abhimanyu tightly. "Thank you" she whispered, tears in her eyes.

Abhimanyu nodded, his expression softening as he looked at her. "We’re family. We protect each other."

He turned to Divya, who was still sobbing, and pulled her into his arms. "We’ll get through this," he murmured, holding her close.

As the night wore on, the tension from the confrontation slowly dissipated. The waiting area became quieter, the oppressive worry interspersed with moments of fragile hope. Divya clung to Abhimanyu, finding solace in his unwavering support.

Easha, still visibly shaken but determined, sat beside them, holding Divya’s hand. "We won’t let them hurt us anymore," she said softly. "We’re stronger together."

Hours later, the doctor approached them again, his expression less grave. "He’s stabilized," he announced. "He’s still critical, but the worst might be over."

Divya let out a breath she didn’t realize she’d been holding. She squeezed Abhimanyu’s hand tightly, a mixture of relief and fear in her eyes. "Thank you," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Abhimanyu nodded, his eyes never leaving hers. "We’ll keep fighting. Together."

The ordeal brought Divya, Abhimanyu, and Easha closer, reinforcing their bond and resolve. They knew the road ahead would be tough, but they were ready to face it as a united front.

The next day, as they prepared to face the challenges ahead, Abhimanyu looked at Divya with a determined expression. "We’ll get through this," he repeated, more for himself than anyone else.

Divya nodded, drawing strength from his words. "Yes, we will. Together."

Hours passed as they waited for updates from the doctors. Each minute felt like an eternity. Abhimanyu stayed close to Divya, comforting her as best as he could.

Finally, a doctor approached them, his expression somber.

"Mrs. Paranjape?" he asked.

Divya stood up, her heart pounding. "Yes, that’s me."

"Your brother is in critical condition. We’re doing everything we can, but the next 24 hours are crucial. We’ll keep you updated on any changes."

Divya nodded, tears spilling down her cheeks. "Thank you, doctor."

Abhimanyu pulled her into another embrace. "He’s strong, Divya. Just like you. He’ll get through this."

Divya clung to him, drawing strength from his presence. "Thank you, Abhi. I don’t know what I’d do without you."

"You don’t have to worry about that," he replied softly. "I’m here. Always."

They sat together in the waiting room, Abhimanyu holding Divya as she cried. The uncertainty of the situation hung heavy in the air, but Abhimanyu’s unwavering support gave Divya a glimmer of hope.

As the night wore on, they continued to wait, drawing strength from each other. Divya knew that the road ahead would be tough, but with Abhimanyu by her side, she felt a little less alone.

In that hospital waiting room, amidst the fear and uncertainty, their bond grew stronger. They were no longer just dealing with past misunderstandings and insecurities; they were facing a new challenge together, and it was bringing them closer than ever before.
