Princess Aaira slipped away from the crowded hall, needing a moment to herself. She found a quiet corner in the palace gardens, the soft moonlight casting a serene glow over the lush greenery. She took a deep breath, trying to calm the turmoil in her heart.

Unbeknownst to her, Prince Aditya had been watching her closely. Concerned for her well-being, he followed her discreetly, ensuring she was alright. He found her standing by a fountain, her hands trailing in the cool water.

"Aaira," he called softly, his voice gentle.

Startled, she turned to see him approaching. "Aditya, what are you doing here?"

"I saw you leave. I wanted to make sure you're okay," he replied, stepping closer.

Aaira sighed, her emotions spilling over. "It's just... everything feels so overwhelming tonight."

Aditya nodded, understanding her completely. "I know. It's a lot to handle."

They stood in silence for a moment, the tension between them palpable. Aditya reached out and took her hand, their fingers entwining naturally. Aaira looked up, their eyes locking in an intense gaze. His brown eyes were filled with concern and something deeper, while her emerald eyes shimmered with unspoken emotions.

Without thinking, Aditya leaned in, his lips gently brushing against hers. Aaira's breath caught in her throat, but she didn't pull away. Instead, she found herself responding, kissing him back with a passion that surprised even her.

For a few moments, they were lost in each other, the world around them fading away. The kiss was tender yet fervent, an unspoken confession of their feelings. But as reality set in, Aaira pulled back abruptly, her eyes wide with shock.

"Aditya, we shouldn't—" she began, but before she could finish, they heard a rustle behind them.

"Stop right there," a stern voice commanded.

They turned to see Adhiraj standing a few feet away, his eyes blazing with anger and protectiveness. He strode forward, placing himself between them.

"What do you think you're doing?" he demanded, his gaze fixed on Aditya. "If someone else had seen you, this would have caused a scandal."

Aaira's cheeks flushed with embarrassment and guilt. "Adhiraj, it's not what it looks like," she stammered.

Adhiraj's expression softened slightly as he looked at his sister. "Aaira, you know better than this. You can't afford to be careless."

Aditya stepped forward, his tone calm yet firm. "I'm sorry, Adhiraj. It was my fault. I shouldn't have—"

Adhiraj cut him off with a wave of his hand. "It doesn't matter whose fault it was. What matters is that you both be more cautious. Our families have reputations to uphold."

Aaira nodded, tears welling up in her eyes. "I'm sorry, Adhiraj. It won't happen again."

Adhiraj's gaze softened further, and he placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Just be careful, both of you. Now, let's get back inside before anyone notices."

Aditya nodded, casting a final, longing look at Aaira before turning to follow Adhiraj. Aaira took a deep breath, composing herself before joining them.

As they walked back to the hall, Adhiraj glanced at Aditya, his voice low but firm. "You care about her. I can see that. But you need to be more responsible. Understand?"

Aditya nodded solemnly. "I understand. I won't let it happen again."

Adhiraj gave a curt nod, satisfied for the moment. "Good. Now, let's rejoin the others."
