We just finished a month of school, just five more to go.

To my surprise it went by fast. Which I guess is a good thing. They're teaching things that we already learned. So it's not a big deal.

I walk past a familiar person. I turned my head to look at them. My eyes widened.

"Uncle Eli?"

He turned around smiling. "Hey kid."

I threw my arms around him. Eli lifted me up and spines me around.

"What are you doing here? I thought you were with mom and dad." I asked.

Eli nodded. "Lia asked if I could come and check on you guys." We began walking around the school.

"Any luck on grandpa Derek?"

Eli shook his head. "Another dead end." His eyes looked down, filled with sadness.

"So, how's the enemy lover?" He asked. Changing the subject. I frowned confused.

"Who? The bitchy werewolf?"

"Why do you hate her again?"

He looked at me dumbfounded. I gave him a 'are you serious' look.

"She spread rumors about me." I said annoyed.

Uncle eli put his arm around me. "That bad huh." He chuckled. I playfully pushed him away. "It's not funny. People are afraid that I'll do it again."

Uncle Eli stopped. Looking at him confused. I stopped, standing in front of him. He cupped by cheeks making me look at him.

"No one and mean no one should ever be afraid of you. You made a small mistake and that's okay. It doesn't define who you are."

"Do you understand?" I nodded.

"Then say it." I looked at him. "I understand." I whispered. Uncle Eli pulled me in for a hug.

I snuggled against him. Laying my head on his chest. Hearing his heart beating. He knows that listening to a steady heart beat calms me down.

It's how I fell asleep when I was baby. He kissed my the back of hand. "Come on let's go find your brother." I smiled at him. Holding his hand.

I put down the blood bag on the table. Uncle Eli gave Jax and I a disgusted look. "I have no idea how you guys drink that." I laugh.

"We need it to survive uncle Eli."

He nodded. "I know but poor Bambi. He lost his mother."

"More like his whole family." I smack Jaxon's arm.

"You can't say that." I giggle.

"What it's true."

"Who does the killing." Uncle Eli asked.
