"So how is it with your new boyfriend?"Arroya smiled. "Perfect. He walked me to my classroom."
"How's your lover?" She wiggled her eyebrows. Shaking my head.
I knew she was a talking about Aza.
"She isn't my lover."
Arroya tilted her head. "I don't know, I think 14 year old Raven will disagree." She smirked.
"Oh come on I had a little crush on her. It's gone now."
She giggled. "You were about to give her flowers before you took the blame remember."
"I think you forgot the part where she punched me in the face."
Arroya laughed. "I remember perfectly. No one in the school managed to hit you once. You have incredible reflexes."
I roll my eyes. "Wait. Did you let her hit you?" She asked. Her eyes widened.
"Come on."
Arroya squeal loudly. "You did." Her eyes brightened.
"I'm planning your wedding."
I immediately shook my head. I tried stopping her. But she had already skipped away.
"If you do anything. I will murder you!" I yelled at her.
"Okay!" She yelled back happily.

At class azazel ignored me. She didn't even look at me when she passed me a test.
I grabbed a small piece of paper. Writing down "you can't ignore me forever." I fold it. Putting it under my test.
After twenty minutes I completed the exam. I grabbed the paper and my test. Walking up to the teachers desk.
I placed the test down. As I walked back to my desk. I passed by Aza placing the paper on her desk.
I sat down. Waiting for her to read it.
Aza opened it. She rolled her eyes. Turning back to look at me. She gave a small smile. As she gave me the finger. I smiled, shaking my head.
After everyone turned in their test. The bell rang. Azazel gathered her things. I walked behind her.
"I wanna take you somewhere." I whispered in her ear.
"I'm not going anywhere with you."
I sighed. "Please." I breathe out.
Aza turned around. "I don't go out with bullies." She said innocently. Putting her bag over her shoulder. Aza walked passed me. Running her hand across my lower stomach.
I lowered my head letting out a small laugh.
I catch up to her. "Do I need to drag you into a closet again?"
Azazel grins. "I only hanged out with you because I was being generous beside Jax told me too."
"You do anything for him huh?"
"Of course I would. He's my twin brother."
I lowered my gaze. "Just this once. I'll let you ask any question you want."
Aza looked at me, her eyes moved up and down.
"I know you have questions you want to ask me."
She squinted her eyes. "Fine. But you have to answer every question."
I nodded at her agreeing. "But I need to borrow your car."
Azazel shook her head repeatedly. "No way."
"If you want me to take you. I need to be the one driving." I placed my hand in front of her.
Azazel groaned. Handing me the keys harshly. "Scratch my car and I'll kill you."
She got in the passenger seat. I got in. Turning on the car.

Turing off the car, I got out waiting for azazel to get out.
"Where are we."
I look at her. A smile forming on my lips. "My favorite place." I simply said.
I reach out my hand for her to take. Aza gave me a questionable look. Hesitating to take my hand.
I send her a small nod. She took my hand in hers.
I lead us through a path in the woods."Are you going to murder me?"
"Maybe."
"I thought you would do it in front of people. You know to have witnesses and all."
I let out a laugh. "Where's the fun in that?" Aza shrugged.
"So where you taking me because we've been walking for a least thirty minutes."
Shaking my head, "be patient." I help her step down from a rock.
She pushed past me once she saw the water fall behind me.
Azazel walked closer to the water. "How'd you find this place?"
I walk behind her. "My mom took me here when she first enlisted me to the Salvatore boarding school."
Aza looked up at me. Her eyes held so much admiration. The way they shined by the sun light. Her skin glowing. Azazel dropped her eyes to the ground. Looking away from me.
"How old were you?"
I looked at the view. "12." I said.
"Is that the age you triggered the gene."
I simply nodded. Walking closer to the water. I sat down on a giant tree trunk. Azazel followed soon after.
"What- what happened?" She whispered softly. Her voice was calm. I closed my eyes. Breathing in the fresh breeze.
"My step dad. He...every time he drank. He became this other person. One night he came home. Yelling and throwing things at my mom."
Looking around avoiding her eyes. Pushing down the tears. "When he laid a hand on her, I got so angry I took a bat and beat him with it."
After I finished speaking. Their was silence between us. Aza just played with her hands looking down.
Maybe I blew it. Maybe I scared her off.
Azazel threw her arms around me. Cutting me off guard. Slightly hesitant I rapped my arm around her waist. My whole body felt at ease. I could feel her hot breath on my neck.
"I'm sorry you had to go through that." She whispered softly.
I closed my eyes. Trying to make this moment last a bit longer. Azazel pulled away from me. "Come on. We should go it'll be dark soon."
We walked back to the car. The sun began to set. The sky was already dark enough to see the stars. Resting my chin in my palm, looking at the night sky.
Azazel turned on the radio. Soft and calm instruments sounds echoed through the car.
Once we got back to the school. We went our separate ways.
