Chapter 17: The Incident. ✶

Ai was standing in her bedroom Ruby asleep and Aqua changing shirts as Y/N was in the kitchen. The doorbell rings as Ai perked up stopping herself from the tweeting a message. 'Must be the president' Ai hummed softly to herself. Ai skipped towards the door, but Y/N was already answering the door.

Ai: "Move you big oaf..." Y/N chuckled as he looked over his shoulders.

Y/N: "Shouldn't you be getting ready Mrs. Ai?"

Ai pouted coming behind Y/N as she got on the tip of her toes leaning her chin on his shoulders. There was man with his hood on and flowers he smiled.

???: "Congratulations on your dome concert how are your twins."

Y/N life and Ai's flashed before their eyes all the memories of them together and them spending times with their children......................

Aqua opened the door that separated the inside of the house and the area to the front door to see his father struggling with a man that had a knife on the ground and his mother calling the police. Y/N eventually landed a hit that knocked the man out cold as the police were on the way. Aqua looked at Y/N seeing blood trailing down Y/N's lips as a stab wound was bleeding around Y/N's stomach. Once Ai noticed her eyes widen a terrified expression on her face as Y/N leaned against a wall the strength in his legs slowly leaving him.

He coughed up blood as his hand pressed against the wound Ruby was about to come in but was stopped by Aqua. Ai ran to Y/N aid as she hugged him muttering sweet nothings about how it was all going to be ok. Ai's eyes darkened. Maybe if she hadn't been an idol this would have never happened.... maybe if she just refused Ichigo offer, she would be ok with Y/N. As if reading the thoughts that entered her mind Y/N cupped her face his hands stained with his own blood as his blue eyes were slowly losing light.

Y/N: "It's ok Ai....I won't die on you I promised right.... How could a man break his promise to his lovely wife and family?" He smiled coughing up more blood as he held aqua head to his chest Ruby eventually came in.....in a blur she was resting her head into her father's stomach breaking down as tears ran down her cheeks Aqua and Ai no better.

Y/N: "My beautiful, beautiful family......I....Aqua and Ruby...me and your mother we love you." They had never told the two.... how much they love them.... Ai was crying...for once Aqua and Ruby saw their mother crying tears running down like a fountain.

Ai: "We love you two so, so, so, much..." Ai voice was breaking as Aqua kept his hand against Y/N's own. Y/N was about to speak but was cut off by Aqua.

Aqua: "Don't waste your breath! Please don't die on us......father please..."

Y/N rested his hand on Ai's cheek kissing her his blood staining Ai's face. The light faded from Y/N's eyes as his hand began going limp.... the man slowly started getting up as he grabbed his knife.... the police entered the pinning the man down the medical services behind them as they took Y/N to the ER. Ichigo and Miyako soon showed up. They comforted the three as they awaited news on Y/N.

All of five of them knew that Y/N was going to fight for his life for them as they awaited news. Soon as Ai was pacing back and forth in the waiting room and Aqua and Ruby nervously fidgeting. Miyako and Ichigo were making calls about the dome concert and other things. Trying to find how the stalker managed to find Ai address.

As Ai was pacing a doctor walked up to her as she still had to wear a disguise. The man introduced himself as Mr. Satoru.

Mr. Satoru: "Kuniko Fushi, correct?" It was Ai false name as she nodded, he then looked at his clipboard as he sighed before looking up at them.

Mr. Satoru: "Somehow he managed to survive the wound. I've never seen a man fight for his life your husband has Mrs. Fushi. He should recover within a few months maximum 6-9 without any major permeant effects. But he is currently awake if you would like to--" He couldn't even finish as all five of them were rushing into Y/N's room.

Ai was the first one there panting heavily as she looked at Y/N who was in a gown laying down as he was looking out the window. Y/N titled his head looking at the entrance his gaze softening a lot as he looked at Ai. Ai eyes filled with tears as she ran jumping onto the bed as she hugged him tightly.

Y/N: "hey, hey, hey, love watch the wound though it still hurts." Ai senses were disoriented from how hard she was crying as she dug her face into Y/N chest. Soon Aqua and Ruby entered following suit in their mothers' footsteps and actions. Ichigo and Miyako followed suit smiling at the scene as he patted Ruby and Aqua's heads the three crying like never before as they clung to him like he could slip through their fingers if they even thought of letting go.

Transition:

A blonde-haired blue-eyed man was sitting in a prison cell as he was talking to another man through the glass on a cell phone with an annoyed expression.

Hikaru: "What do you mean you failed?"

Transition:

Ai and Y/N were talking as Aqua and Ruby was cuddled into Y/N.

Y/N: "There's only one person who would be able to find out where we live. Hikaru." Ai nodded as she frowned sighing as she patted Aqua's and Ruby's heads. Y/N looked out the window at the snow that was falling.

Y/N: "That means that there must be a mole among the group, or he has someone supporting him......" Y/N eyes widened as he looked at his hands. Ai tilted her head looking at Y/N.

Y/N: "Maybe his agency is helping him? I mean think of it he was close with an agency that was close with strawberry productions. So maybe we have a mole on our hands." Ai eyes widen as she bit her lip threating to cut her own lip being stopped by Y/N touch on her face.

Y/N: "Calm down Ai we have to think clearly...how do we draw out the mole?" Ai smiled the white stars in her eyes darkening to a murky black as she tilted her head.

Ai: "I have the perfect plan to draw out the mole and finally end Hikaru and his antics."

Time and time again Hikaru had hurt the ones she loved.... threatened her career...her life...her family's life.... now she was going to return that favor a thousand times over...
