Sorry for the slow updates y'all! It's been so hard to find the time to write and when I have the time, the writer's block hits hard.... First world problems, I know 🙄
-- Sameer--
I was supposed to walk Muskaan home and then head back to my own place to finish for an upcoming psych test. That did not happen.
I know I shouldn't let my thoughts stray that way, but I couldn't help it. When I dropped Muskaan home, she asked if I wanted to come in and have a cup of tea. She left me in the living room for a couple minutes and came back in a tiny t-shirt and pj bottoms that hung low on her hips, the new brewed tea in her hands.
Either I was a complete perv or she was making moves on me.
Her hair was down now and she pushed her over her shoulders, bringing into view places I wanted to be. This was definitely a move.
"Moose?" I set my tea cup down without taking a sip. "I should leave." I stand up.
"Why?" she frowns, standing up as well.
"Because we both know what you're doing and I don't know if we want to rush this," I raise an eyebrow at her attire.
In the most surprising of ways, Muskaan smirks ever so slightly, falling back down on the couch and pulling my hand down till I'm seated again as well. "You need to relax Sameer."
"Who are you and what have you done with Muskaan?" I narrow my eyes at her with teasing suspicion.
"This is the new me. Deal with it," she snickers.
Grinning, I eye her accentuated curves under her shirt. "I think I like this part of you. A lot."
She slowly brings her hand up to my hair, running her fingers through it. She doesn't need to say more for me to understand what she wanted. I kiss her, waiting for her to nod in permission for me to run my hands along her body.
How I missed the feeling of her in my arms.
She takes my hand and leads us to her room, shutting the door behind us without a second to waste.
"What made you think of going to Kento?"
I shrug into her fluffy pillow. "I figured in this place there had to be a couple of people who knew something about hacking into things. Like the Social Network," I chuckle.
"Well whatever it was, it was a stroke of genius. And thank God that Kento pulled through," she yawns halfway through her sentence. Her eyes instantly begin to flutter.
"I didn't want it to happen like this," I mumble mostly to myself, pushing her hair out of her face.
"Didn't want what?"
"Us, getting back together like this. I wanted to do it right, ask you out on a date and all. But I needed more time to get everything sorted out. And then that was it, you weren't going anywhere after that."
A wistful smile grows across her face. "We were never good at timing were we?" She snuggles in closer to me.
I happily accept, wrapping my arms around her tightly. "I guess not. But I can't say I'm mad about you it." I reach over and turn off the lamp, drowning the room in darkness.
"Can't say I am either," she sighs happily.
"I missed you," I confess in a whisper, my chest tightening again at the memory of her walking out of my apartment in December.
