Nory's POV
All the UDM kids sit together in the booth at the ice cream shop. All of them sat in a booth while their relatives sat in the booth behind them. The air was full of laughter and happy vibes. Pepper was to Nory's right, near the wall. Willa was on Nory's left, with Marigold next to her. Andres was in front of Pepper, near the wall. Bax was next to Andres, in front of Nory. Elliot was next to him, and Sebastian was near the edge. They all had there ice cream in a bowl. (Here are their orders in case you're interested:

-Marigold- Cookies and Cream

Nory sucked on a spoon of ice cream. It tasted good. Nory glanced at the table next to her where father, Dalia, and Hawthorn sat. They were eating silently. "Awkward!" Nory thought.But now, she wasn't going to worry about them. She was going the savor this moment. Her being surrounded by her friends as that all laughed. Nory felt safe and cozy here. She glanced at Bax. He was cute, but Npry didn't need to have a crush on him. She's way to young for that. Bax probably wasn't right for her anyway. Nory decided that she's going to live her life without caring about the mean people or challenges. She was going to savor every moment because one day, she won't be able too. Nory smiled as she watched her friends, knowing that she can do anything if she has the people she loves.
