Nishiroma was quick in her feet though, swiftly reaching the white and dark browned hair duo

Nishiroma stood in front of the two as she placed her hands on the hips, looking at them for a moment before then saying in a monotonous but somewhat calm voice

"Hello there"

Iwashi simply looked back at Nishiroma, his expression stoic and unreadable. Reika, on the other hand, was still unconscious, her body limp in his arms

Nishiroma tilted her head, observing Reika's state.

"Unconscious and heavily drained from fatigue and chakra exhaustion," Nishiroma noted aloud, her eyes narrowing slightly.

Iwashi gently set Reika on the tree branch so she wouldn't interfere in the battle

Nishiroma watched as Iwashi placed Reika on the tree branch, her expression unwavering.

"Smart move," Nishiroma commented. "But you do realize the situation you're in, right?"

Iwashi nodded silently, his eyes fixated on Nishiroma, calculating his next move. "I'm well aware," he replied, his voice calm and steady.

"And yet, you're not attempting to run away," she said, her words carefully chosen. "That's either foolish bravery or simply foolishness."

"Running would be pointless," Iwashi replied, his voice betraying no hint of fear. "You would catch up to me in an instant."

Nishiroma nodded, impressed by Iwashi's admission. "Perceptive and realistic," she mused. "You understand your limitations. That's uncommon in a genin your age."

Iwashi didn't respond, his expression remaining neutral. He shifted his stance, his fingers subtly touching the shurikens attached to his thigh.

Iwashi: (If I can hold her back for long enough, Yaguchi could catch up...)

Iwashi then remembered the words of Yaguchi: Yaguchi: (bluntly) It would be if I was a robot but I'm a man with his own ideals not a damn dog. I don't take orders.

Iwashi: ideals...

Nishiroma: huh?

Iwashi: What are your ideals?

Nishiroma: that seems like an out of topic discussion for the moment.

Iwashi: I'm curious.

Nishiroma: well, if it will satisfy you then I believe in rules. Loyalty to the mission is paramount. Emotions and personal attachments are weaknesses that can compromise success. Rules exist for a reason, and they must be followed without question.

Iwashi: (rules, huh? A logical answer rather than the impulse...)

Iwashi: would you consider yourself a tool?

Nishiroma: A tool is only as useful as the hand that wields it. I am a shinobi dedicated to my duty. If that makes me a tool, then I am the sharpest one in the arsenal, ready to cut down any threat to my village.

Iwashi: (hearing it again...from her mouth... I realized that I've been nothing but a controlled puppet...)

Without another word, they sprang into action. Iwashi formed a series of hand seals rapidly, summoning a Wood Clone. The clone charged at Nishiroma, its movements mirroring Iwashi's perfectly. Nishiroma didn't flinch. She formed her own hand seals and created a Chemical Clone, which immediately rushed to meet Iwashi's wooden double.

The two clones clashed in a flurry of strikes and blocks, each testing the other's limits. The Wood Clone's strength was formidable, but the Chemical Clone's volatile nature proved equally challenging. When the Chemical Clone exploded, it took the Wood Clone with it, sending debris flying.
