Reika: Now what is this about?

Reika asked as she walked into the scene with Yaguchi and Iwashi, noticing Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto alongsides Nishiroma and Kakashi

Naruto: why are they here, Kakashi sensai?! I thought we were gonna have some super cool awesome new mission!

Kakashi responded to Naruto's complaints with his usual nonchalance.

Kakashi: Patience, Naruto. This mission involves all six of you.

Yaguchi observed the team with a critical eye, clearly unimpressed.

Yaguchi: (sarcastic) Great, a group project with these jokers. Just what I needed.

Nishiroma gave Yaguchi a dismissive look.

Nishiroma: Quit your whining and pay attention.

Kakashi continued to address the team.

Kakashi: You're all here because this mission requires a team with diverse skills. Now, listen up.

Hiruzen: Despite being a team of genin rookies you've been through high threat missions and exceeded. 

He continued with his explanation.

Hiruzen: This mission will be a collaboration between Team 2 and Team 7 alone without their sensais

Reika: awesome!

Naruto: (pumped) So what's the mission about?

Hiruzen: You'll be assigned to investigate a series of mysterious disappearances in a nearby village.

Sakura: (concerned) Disappearances? What kind of disappearances?

Hiruzen: Reports have indicated that several villagers have mysteriously vanished overnight. No signs of forced entry or a struggle. It's as if they simply disappeared into thin air.

Sasuke: (suspicous) Sounds like the work of a stealth expert.

Reika: yeah so what village is it??

Hiruzen: The village is called Kusagakure. It's known for its dense forests. You'll be having an escort...

As Hiruzen continued to explain, a man entered the room

Kiran: That would be me.

The man was tall and athletic, with long black hair tied back in a loose ponytail. He wore a dark jacket over a black shirt and pants, giving him a stealthy aura.

Kiran: My name is Kiran. I'm here to escort you to Kusagakure.

Kiran stepped forward, his expression solemn.

Kiran: Kusagakure village is deep within a dense forest known as the "Whispering Woods". The forest is said to be haunted, and many who venture in never return...

Naruto: great! lets go let's go!

Kakashi gestured for Naruto to calm down.

Kakashi: Patience, Naruto. We need to listen to Kiran's briefing first.

Reika: I'm not scared of ghosts, ghosts are scared of me!

Yaguchi: shut it moron

Kiran continued with his briefing, barely acknowledging Reika's comment.

Kiran: Our intelligence suggests that a group of unknown attackers are responsible for the disappearances. The villagers have reported hearing strange noises coming from the forest at night. But when they investigate, the noises stop, and more villagers disappear.

Sasuke: so whatever it is, it's using the forest as cover for its attacks.

Kiran nodded in agreement.

Kiran: Precisely. The dense foliage and limited visibility provide the perfect environment for an adversary to strike without being detected.

Sakura: that's a huge advantage for them. How will we find them?

Naruto: by working! come on we're wasting time talking!

Reika: Naruto's right for once

Kiran: Patience. There's more. Not only are the disappearances a concern, but there have been reports of strange symbols appearing in the forest. The villagers believe they're connected to some sort of magic, further strengthening the ghost rumors

Reika: that's so lame

Kiran raised an eyebrow at her comment but continued.

Kiran: These symbols are often found near the locations where the disappearances occurred. They're complex designs, possibly linked to a curse or some form of ancient ritual.

Yaguchi: I bet it's just a cover up

Kiran: Whether you believe it's a cover-up or not, we don't have the privilege to be dismissive. The villagers are scared, and it's our job to find out the truth.

Naruto: let's go!

he grabbed Reika's wrist and pulled her with him as he ran out

The rest of the team had no choice but to follow Naruto, who was already charging ahead. Kiran sighed, knowing it was going to be a long journey.

While Kiran as escorting

Kiran: (to Reika) so..

Reika: ?

Kiran: what's your name

Reika: Reika Kaneko

Kiran: (nods) interesting... you have a cute face

Reika: ...

Kiran: oh? Don't like compliments?

Sasuke: (annoyed) For someone who's experiencing such tragedies you seem to find this quite amusing huh?

Kiran: Well, I prefer to find humor in dark situations. Better than moping around, right?

Sakura: Well, it's hard to agree with you when you're talking about the disappearances of innocent villagers. It's not a laughing matter.

Kiran shrugged casually.

Kiran: Suit yourself. Laughing helps me keep a clear head and stay focused on the task at hand.

Yaguchi: And yet you seem completely indifferent to the sufferings of others.

Kiran: (sarcastic) Oh, pardon me if I don't burst into tears every time someone goes missing. I'm on a job, not a therapy session.

Sasuke: Being emotional doesn't mean being weak. Have some empathy, idiot.

Kiran chuckled at Naruto's outburst.

Kiran: Easy there, hero. This isn't a pity party. We've got a mission to complete, not a tearfest.

Iwashi: Enough.

His stern voice cut through the budding argument. The others fell silent, surprised by his unexpected interruption.

Yaguchi: (sarcastic) Well, well, looks like our stoic friend finally found his voice.

Iwashi pointed a kunai at Yaguchi's neck startling Reika and Sakura who gasped and were in shock, grabbing each others hands

Iwashi: I'm in charge here, Yaguchi. Do not act up here because i promise you I don't hold back

Yaguchi, initially caught off guard by Iwashi's intense response, quickly composed himself. He chuckled, keeping his cool demeanor.

Yaguchi: Oh, I see. The stoic suddenly has a spine. How interesting.

Sakura: a-are they always like that?!

Reika: surprisingly!!

Iwashi then pulled his knife back

Iwashi: watch your tongue, that warning applies to everyone here
