The girls returned to Ever After High, their minds still reeling from the events of their adventure. As they sat in their respective classes, trying to focus on their lessons, a sense of unease hung over them like a dark cloud.

Suddenly, the intercom crackled to life, and the voice of Headmaster Grimm echoed through the halls. "Apple White, Raven Queen, Kitty Cheshire, and Brooke Page, please report to my office immediately."

The girls exchanged nervous glances before gathering their belongings and making their way to Headmaster Grimm's office. As they walked, a sense of foreboding settled in the pit of their stomachs.

When they arrived at the office, Headmaster Grimm was already waiting for them, his expression stern and unreadable. "Girls," he said gravely, gesturing for them to take a seat. "I have some questions that need answering."

Apple, Raven, and Kitty exchanged worried glances, while Brooke tried to keep her composure, her heart pounding in her chest.

"I've been doing some digging," Headmaster Grimm began, his gaze fixed on Brooke. "And I couldn't help but notice something... peculiar."

Brooke swallowed hard, her palms growing clammy. "W-what do you mean, Headmaster Grimm?"

"I mean," Headmaster Grimm said slowly, "that I find it rather odd that there is no record of you ever attending school before coming to Ever After High. No transcripts, no transfer paperwork, nothing."

Brooke's heart sank as the weight of Headmaster Grimm's words settled over her like a suffocating blanket. She had hoped they could keep up the charade a little longer, but it seemed their deception had finally caught up with them.

Apple, Raven, and Kitty exchanged nervous glances, realizing that their carefully constructed story was beginning to unravel before their eyes.

Headmaster Grimm's gaze bore into Brooke, his eyes searching for any sign of deception. "So, Brooke," he said finally, his voice cold and unforgiving. "Care to explain yourself?"

Brooke's mind raced as she searched for a plausible excuse, but the truth hung heavy on her tongue. She knew there was no way to hide the reality of their situation any longer.

Taking a deep breath, she met Headmaster Grimm's gaze head-on. "I'm not a transfer student," she admitted quietly. "I... I don't belong here."

As the weight of her confession settled over the room, Apple, Raven, and Kitty exchanged worried glances, unsure of what would happen next. But one thing was clear — their adventure was far from over, and the consequences of their actions were only just beginning to unfold.

Headmaster Grimm's expression remained unreadable as he absorbed Brooke's confession. The silence in the room was thick with tension, broken only by the sound of their collective breaths.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Headmaster Grimm spoke, his voice low and measured. "I see," he said, his eyes flickering with a mix of disappointment and curiosity. "And why, may I ask, have you been deceiving us, Brooke?"

Brooke swallowed hard, her throat tight with guilt. "I... I didn't mean to deceive anyone," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. "I just... I needed to find a way back to where I belong. I never meant to cause any trouble."

Apple, Raven, and Kitty exchanged sympathetic glances, understanding Brooke's predicament but unsure of how to help her now that their secret was out in the open.

Headmaster Grimm regarded Brooke for a moment longer before sighing heavily. "I understand," he said, his tone softer now. "But deception, no matter the intention, cannot be overlooked. There will be consequences for your actions, Brooke."

Brooke nodded, her eyes downcast. She knew she had made a mistake, and now she would have to face the repercussions.

"However," Headmaster Grimm continued, his gaze sweeping over the group, "I believe that everyone deserves a chance at redemption. We will discuss this matter further, but for now, you are all dismissed."

As the girls filed out of Headmaster Grimm's office, the weight of their deception hung heavy on their shoulders. They knew they would have to face whatever consequences lay ahead, but for now, they were grateful for the chance to regroup and figure out their next steps.

As they walked through the halls of Ever After High, their minds whirring with thoughts of what was to come, one thing was clear — their adventure was far from over, and they would need to stick together if they hoped to make it through the challenges that lay ahead.
