In the cozy dorm room shared by Maddie and Briar, the morning sun filtered through the whimsical, teapot-shaped window. Maddie was pacing back and forth, her teacup hat bobbing with each step as she ranted animatedly about the adventures she and her friends had been through.

"And then, Kitty vanished right before my eyes! Poof! Just like that!" Maddie exclaimed, her eyes wide with excitement. "And don't even get me started on that skunk. I thought we'd never get rid of the smell!"

Briar, lounging on her bed and twirling a lock of her hair, chuckled. "Sounds like you've had quite the adventure, Maddie. I'm surprised you're all still in one piece."

Maddie stopped pacing and grinned at her roommate. "Oh, Briar, you should have been there! It was hextraordinary! And Brooke, she's something else. She fits right in, almost like she was meant to be here."

Briar smiled, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Sounds like you guys have become close. But tell me, did you manage to have any fun amidst all the chaos?"

Maddie flopped onto her bed, a dreamy look on her face. "Oh, absolutely! We had tea parties with mice, sang silly songs, and Kitty kept pranking everyone. She even made Apple mad by hiding her apple-scented perfume."

Briar laughed, shaking her head. "Classic Kitty. She always knows how to keep things interesting."

Maddie giggled, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Yeah, she does. And speaking of interesting, we need to get to class before we're late."

Briar sighed dramatically, rolling off her bed. "Alright, let's go face the day. Separate classes, though, so I'll catch you later."

They left the dorm together, their laughter echoing through the halls as they made their way to their respective classes. Maddie waved goodbye to Briar and skipped off to meet up with Brooke and Raven.

Meanwhile, Apple White, having a free period, decided to spend the time productively. She sat at her desk, her notebook open, and began meticulously writing down everything they had been through. Her elegant script filled the pages as she detailed their adventures and their plan to retrieve the Mirror of Reflection.

"I need to make sure we stay on track," Apple muttered to herself, her brow furrowed in concentration. "This is too important to leave to chance."

As she wrote, she couldn't help but feel a mixture of determination and anxiety. The fate of their friend depended on their success, and she was determined not to let them down.

In the classroom, when Maddie arrived, she found Brooke and Raven standing by the door, deep in conversation. Brooke was laughing at something Raven had said, and Raven had a rare smile on her face.

"Good morning, my fabulous friends!" Maddie announced, bouncing up to them.

Brooke turned to her, her eyes lighting up. "Hey, Maddie! You won't believe the dream Raven just told me about. It involved a dragon, a castle made of marshmallows, and a giant cup of hot chocolate."

Raven rolled her eyes but couldn't suppress a grin. "It was just a dream, Brooke."

Maddie clapped her hands, her excitement palpable. "Sounds hextraordinary! I bet the marshmallow castle was delicious."

Brooke laughed, shaking her head. "You and your Wonderland imagination, Maddie."

They walked into the classroom together, taking their seats and continuing their conversation. Maddie felt a warm sense of belonging as she sat between her two friends, sharing jokes and stories.

"Hey, Brooke," Raven said, leaning in. "Have you ever seen anything like Ever After High before?"

Brooke shook her head, her eyes wide with wonder. "No, not at all. It's so magical here. Every corner has a story."

Maddie grinned, nodding enthusiastically. "That's the best part! Every day is a new adventure. And the people? Hextraordinary. Especially our little group."

Raven laughed softly. "Yeah, it's been pretty great. Who would have thought we'd all become such good friends so quickly?"

Brooke smiled warmly. "I'm really grateful to you all. You've made me feel so welcome, even though my situation is... a bit unusual."

Maddie waved her hand dismissively. "Oh, pish posh! Unusual is our middle name. Well, actually, mine might be something more like 'Tea Party' or 'Madness,' but you get the point."

They all chuckled, the ease of their friendship clear in their interactions. As the class began, they continued to whisper jokes and comments to each other, finding ways to make the lesson entertaining.

"Did you see the look on Apple's face when Kitty hid her perfume?" Brooke whispered, stifling a giggle.

Raven smirked. "I thought she was going to explode. Kitty's pranks are legendary."

Maddie leaned in, her eyes sparkling. "You should have seen the time Kitty replaced all the apples in the cafeteria with look-alike soap apples. It was... deliciously chaotic."

Brooke gasped softly. "No way! That's brilliant."

Raven shook her head, still smiling. "I have to admit, Kitty's pranks do keep things interesting around here."

Their teacher walked in, and the class settled down. But Maddie, Brooke, and Raven continued to exchange whispered jokes and comments throughout the lesson, their friendship growing stronger with each shared moment.

As the class drew to a close, Maddie couldn't help but feel grateful for her friends. Despite all the chaos and uncertainty, they had found a way to bond and have fun together. And for Maddie, that was the most magical part of all.
