Raph's P.O.V.

Man, I really messed up.

I fell face first onto my small bed after training, having no energy do to anything else. Hell, I didn't even have the energy for that, and Leo beat me in under a minute. Would've smacked Mikey upside the head for laughing about if I was in my right mind too.

If this was any other time I'd be totally ticked right now. But I don't even have the energy to be mad.

I screwed up so bad.

I went over to her house to try and help her.... ended up basically confessing to her right after some guy stood her up.... then practically made out with her.... and ended the night yelling at her.

What a great friend I am.

I mean, what was I thinking?! I shouldn't have said any of that stuff. I should've helped her calm down, waited until she fell asleep, then went out to find that guy and beat the shit out of him for hurting her.

But noOoOo. I just had to pick the perfect moment to tell her that I'm in love with her. Even if I didn't technically say it. I'm sure she got the gist.

And now it's been three days, and she hasn't been to the lair once. Because I'm an idiot.

I rolled onto my back as Spike crawled over towards me, nudging my fingers with his scaly little head to get me to look at him.

My head rolled to the side, my face still showing the same helpless expression it has for days, and Spike just tilted his head. Like he was asking what was wrong.

"I messed up. Bad." His head stayed tilted, like I hadn't been ranting about this to him everyday. "She was hurt already, and then I just hurt her even more by being stupid!"

He just started chewing on the piece of lettuce next to him, which I'm pretty sure is his way of agreeing with me, and I sighed.

"What am I gonna do, Spike? I can't lose her."

He paused his chewing then, the lettuce leaf hanging out of his mouth as he slowly looked towards my door, staring for a moment before he looked back at me.

"Ya think I should go talk to her?" I asked, hesitant, but knowing that's what he was trying to say.

He started chewing on the leaf again, what seemed like satisfaction on his little face, and my eyes drifted back to the ceiling.

Well, it's either that, or sit here wallowing in my stupid emotions while the possibility of her never coming back grows bigger. Which I've already been doing for long enough.

"Yeah, you're probably right." I sighed.

With a small pat on his head, I finally got up and headed out the door, running through what I could possibly say when I got to her place and trying to come up with a decent apology and an explanation, even though I totally suck at this stuff.

Maybe I could get her something?

But what? What do you give someone that says 'im sorry I confessed at the wrong time and then screamed at you, please forgive me'?

Man, I'm gonna blow this.

When I reached her apartment building, I stood on the roof for a couple of minutes to somewhat... prepare for what I was about to do. But after a good five minutes of trying to put some words together, it was clear that my brain wasn't gonna be much help right now.
