"Kuya Daru! May I know what you've talked about last night?" I asked as I made myself comfortable on the bench here on our patio.

My brother, who's cleaning his car shook his head. Ngumuso ako at napatingin sa aking braso. It's day 1 being an injured person. My cast arm is hurt, but it's bearable since I'm taking medicine.

"It's a boy talked, only we can know." He even said that made me frowned.

I wonder how far their topic went? Chandler seems to be okay last night, kaya I'm very nagtataka eh.

"How's your feeling, Zeke? Your arm?" Kuya Darius suddenly asked.

"It's throbbing, hurt." I said as I caressed my arm a bit.

Narinig ko ang buntong hininga ni kuya. From where I was, I saw him standing. I think he's done cleaning his car. Daddy wasn't here today, nasa farm siguro. Kuya Maddieson is still in his room, though.

I did not go to school today because of my condition. Siniguro naman nila daddy na excuse ako sa aming klase at kahit na sa practice.

"May schedule ka sa hospital mamayang hapon. Chandler will be here after his school..." Kuya Darius informed.

My eyes immediately widened! Why? What for? Oh my god!

"Why?" I almost raised my voice!

My brother raised his brow at me, pumunta siya sa kung saan ako while wiping his hands and arms na nabasa.

"What do you mean... Why?" He chuckled. "I know you also want him here, though."

Well, I... Yes, ugh! But is that really necessary? He's busy, it must be a waste of time for him if he goes here instead of studying nalang sa house nila, right?

"There's no need for him to visit pa here, kuya! He's a busy man, you know?" I grunted.

He grinned. "Well, daddy is the one who invited him here... And he can make time, sabi niya."

I can feel my cheeks heated. Ano ba 'yan, dad!

Kaya after that talk, I immediately went to my room to fix myself. I actually had a hard time because of my injured arm but I still managed naman, it's just hurting from time to time that I really have to take a deep breath to stop myself from crying again.

It's already lunch time when I went down, ang labasan ng mga students sa VVA ay 5PM pa. I wore very comfortable clothes, just parachute pants and a thin strap top, and I let ate Nelia fix my hair.

I ate my lunch dahil sabi ni kuya ay before 2PM ay dapat nasa hospital na kami, he will accompany me since daddy isn't here.

The time flew so fast, I just saw myself inside of kuya Daru's car. We're now on the way to the hospital for my check up and x-ray. Tahimik lang ako because I'm thinking kung anong mangyayari nanaman mamaya if Chandler is in the house.

Meanwhile, my brother is now talking to our father.

"Yes, dad. I'll make sure of that..." Anito before he dropped the phone call.

"Ano daw 'yon, kuya?" I asked curiously.

"Daddy was asking about your condition right now, and he reminds me na huwag ka daw pagutuman..."

I nodded quietly. The ride took us almost an hour. Nakarating kami sa isang private hospital. I didn't wait for my brother, I opened the car door the moment the car engine stopped. Umirap tuloy ang kuya ko nang makababa na siya.

We both headed to doctor Leandro's office, and a nurse came to assist us, actually doctor Leandro is the personal doctor of our family. Ganon nalang din ang tiwala ni daddy sa kanya.
