Was God finally heard my prayers? If he did, then I am more than thankful.

I can't explain what I'm feeling right now, I'm happy. I couldn't even stop myself from smiling while brushing my hair in front of my vanity mirror. I'm probably looking stupid right now. But who cares naman.

Katatapos ko lang mag shower, now I'm confident na because I feel so fresh. Kahit siguro tumabi na ako kay Chandler... Just kidding, though.

I went down after that. I let my long hair fall freely at my back, it's kinda wet pa kaya hindi ko na muna itinali. I'm wearing shorts and a purple spaghetti strap top. I don't want to wear a T-shirt since it will be uncomfortable for me because of my cast arm.

I saw them in the living room, parang hindi sila umalis doon. There's already a snack at the mini table, hindi pa din nagagalaw. They glanced at me, and I smiled a bit at Chandler.

I saw how he surveyed me pagkatapos ay he looked away, napanguso tuloy ako bago naupo sa tabi ni kuya Maddieson.

"Muffin!" I giggled as I took one piece of muffin, I sighed after I tasted it. Ang yummy talaga!

"I baked that..." Proud na sabi ni kuya Maddieson.

I laughed as I nodded. I really like my brothers' effort. They knew that I like muffins so much, even our dad, so they put effort just to learn how to bake it.

"She likes muffins..." Boses 'yon ni daddy.

Napasulyap ako sa kanya and I saw him looking at Chandler, napatingin naman ako doon sa lalaki and I saw him watching me. I suddenly felt my cheeks burned. Gosh!

"Uh..."

Chandler silently nodded, still looking at me kaya I'm the one who looked away first. I'm afraid he might notice how flush I am.

"As I was saying earlier... I know a person who's hiring fresh graduates in their law firm." Ani daddy.

I heard Chandler cleared his throat. I think they were talking about something before I came here, naputol kaya itutuloy ngayon.

"I still have a long way to go, sir..." He chuckled. "But I might consider that since I think it will be a good start for me." 

I quietly bites my muffin as I listen to them, especially to Chandler. I think I can listen to his husky voice all day.

"Yeah, you should take the opportunity. Kapag nagkataon ay baka ikaw na din ang magtayo ng sarili mong pangalan sa law field. Who knows, right?" Sabi pa ni daddy.

I saw kuya Darius nodded his head. "Hindi ka na mahihirapan kung maaga kang makikilala sa trabahong gusto mo. Besides, lawyers are always in demand, loob man o labas ng bansa." 

"That's my plan, even before I pursue Law. Makapag tapos, makapasa sa bar exam, makahanap ng trabaho sa propesyon na gusto ko... at magkaroon ng sariling pangalan dito at law firm kalaunan. I'll stick with that..." He said.

Kitang-kita ko ang pagkislap ng mga mata ni daddy. He really likes men who has clear and bright plans for their future. He really likes those hard working and will do everything sa mga bagay na gusto nila. Kaya I can't blame us na mga anak niya kung bakit hanggat maaari ay gusto naming maayos ang kalalabasan ng lahat ng aming mga ginagawa. We want him to be proud of us.

"I didn't make a wrong decision, after all..." My father murmured. 

Watching them comfortably talking with Chandler, and Chandler being comfortable with them makes my heart flutter. I did not expect the man that I like the most in this kind of situation. Ang akala ko... habang buhay ko na siyang tatanawin from afar. Well, it didn't seem that I already have a chance to be with him, but that's not part of my concern now. At least my family is okay with him, and I think... he is too.
