It's been three long days. The balcony is not starting to be enough. I can't be locked in this room like this. Hank throwing me out on the street was so much better in comparison. I'm not the only one feeling trapped. Aria and Liam have been showing the same signs of cranky and snappish behavior. We are just sitting ticking time bombs. It has been the same routine. Food is brought by either Max or Max's twin sister Aesira. I finally managed to confirm my suspicion yesterday. I am so bored. There wasn't even anything I could do to keep busy. Liam asked if we could get some fresh air and Max flat out said no. I'm pretty sure Liam almost punched him in the face.

"What time is it?" Liam says from beside me on the floor.

I turn my head over to look at the nearest clock on the desk. It shows 5:26 pm.

"It's 5:26 pm," I say, staring back up at the ceiling.

I hear him sigh. I honestly can't blame him. Being from New York means you always have somewhere you can walk to or something to see. You don't lock up a New Yorker in a room with nothing to do. It's principle. This is an entirely different kind of trapped from how I was before.

"Was that a knock?" I hear Aria ask from the couch nearby.

"Yes, I think it was," Liam says confused, turning his head over to the door.

I focus back on reality and listen carefully. A loud knock more like banging comes to the door. Liam sits up quickly taking a position in front of me and I look over at Aria gesturing for her to come behind me. She moves quickly sitting behind me and holding me tightly.

"COME IN" Liam yells so the person knocking can hear.

The door swings open quickly. I tensed up at the display of power. Max comes strolling in with Aesira who is pushing a food chart covered in blood and chunks of guts I think. They are both covered from head to toe. I've never been so happy to have Aria's face to be pushed against my back.

"Sorry about that it seems I'm still on overdrive from the fun little fight we had." Max laughs casually like he isn't covered in people's insides.

My stomach curls up and feels like it wants to be ripped out.

"We brought your dinner early because we would have been late bringing it if we cleaned up and got changed." She has left the cart by the wall near the door. "Sorry for the mess" as she looks down at the blood on the handles of the chart.

"Man, it sucks that they weren't much of a fight. I could go for another round." Max says bouncing around shadowboxing.

Aesira doesn't pay him any attention since she is looking at her phone.

"Ah seriously" She mutters under her breath.

"See I knew you would understand. Those weaklings weren't even a warm-up" Max says still shadowboxing not looking at her.

He is way too excited for someone covered in blood.  I think I might be sick. Max looks over at us and smiles showing off his razor teeth.

"How about one of you fight me" He says all excited like he just came up with the best idea ever.

"We don't have time for that tweedle-dumb. The boss has called it seems we still have a few things to clean up." She says running out the door and leaving him behind.

"YES WOOOOOOOOOOOO" He says running after her with his hands up in the air excited.

I wait for the normal door lock to click into place. After a few seconds still hearing Max's voice but from a distance, I realized that they didn't close the door. Liam seems to have noticed since he bounced up jogging to the door.
