Yeonjun's head was spinning as he jolted awake, disoriented and groggy. He glanced at the clock and cursed under his breath—only three minutes until his first class, and he was still in bed.

"Shit!" he exclaimed, throwing off the covers and scrambling to his feet. There was no time for a leisurely morning routine. With a sense of urgency, he dashed to the bathroom for a quick shower, barely bothering to check the water temperature before jumping in.

As he lathered up and rinsed off as quickly as possible, thoughts raced through his mind. He needed to get dressed, grab his backpack, and make it to class in record time. There was no time for breakfast, but he spotted a granola bar conveniently left on the counter and grabbed it on his way out.

With his hair still damp and his clothes slightly wrinkled, Yeonjun dashed out of his dorm room and sprinted towards the school building. He weaved through the crowded hallways, dodging students and obstacles along the way.

Breathless and slightly disheveled, Yeonjun burst into the classroom just as the bell rang. He quickly found an empty seat and settled in, hoping he hadn't missed too much of the lecture. As he caught his breath, he made a mental note to set an alarm next time to avoid the morning rush.

Yeonjun couldn't help but notice Soobin's entrance, the calm and almost menacing aura he exuded as he strolled into the classroom. His backpack hung casually off one shoulder, and his hand ran effortlessly through his hair, as if he owned the place. And, of course, the professor said nothing, seemingly unfazed by Soobin's casual demeanor.

Soobin took the table beside Yeonjun and immediately pulled out his phone, engrossed in whatever was on the screen. Yeonjun tried to focus on the lecture, which was about physical responses, but his attention kept drifting to Soobin.

As the lecture continued, the professor announced that they would need to work on a document and asked the students to find partners. Yeonjun glanced around the room, feeling a sense of unease. He hadn't anticipated having to work with anyone, especially not someone like Soobin. But as the professor's gaze swept over the room, Soobin's eyes met Yeonjun's, and a silent understanding passed between them. They were going to be partners.

Yeonjun's heart raced with excitement as the professor outlined the assignment. His mind buzzed with anticipation, already envisioning how their studying and presentations would unfold. He couldn't wait to dive into the project and work alongside Soobin, eager to see where their partnership would take them.

"I want you all to think of some questions to ask your partner about the document," the professor instructed, snapping Yeonjun out of his thoughts. "Then document their reaction. You'll be given machines that sync your brainwaves, sort of like a lie detector. After you gather the information, you'll write biographies about your partner and then hand them in to me."

Yeonjun's optimism soared at the prospect of working closely with Soobin and delving into their partnership. He was ready to tackle the assignment head-on, confident that their collaboration would lead to success. With a determined nod, he turned to Soobin, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. It was time to get to work.

But Soobin didn't look determined at all. In fact, he didn't even look up from his phone, only glancing briefly at the professor before returning to his screen. Yeonjun sighed, feeling a twinge of disappointment. He had expected some lack of cooperation, but not complete disinterest.

"Soobin," Yeonjun said, trying to sound enthusiastic. "We need to start thinking about our questions for the assignment."

Soobin gave a noncommittal grunt, still focused on his phone. Yeonjun felt his optimism waver but refused to let it fade completely.
