Years passed, and life took Y/N and Taehyung in different directions. After graduating, Y/N pursued her dreams with determination, eventually becoming a respected commission general. Her journey was marked by hard work, perseverance, and the occasional nostalgic thought of her time with Taehyung.

Taehyung, too, followed his own path and became a successful deputy commissioner. However, the connection they once shared faded into a distant memory, buried under the weight of their busy lives and unspoken misunderstandings.

Y/N had always wondered why Taehyung had grown distant in those final months before graduation. She remembered the looks he gave her, filled with judgment and disappointment. The love and support he once showed seemed to vanish, replaced by cold indifference.

Y/N was getting ready for a meeting not ready for an unexpected surprise that was waiting for her. She went to the conference. There she found taehyung, this time in a formal meeting related to their high-stakes case. Y/N entered the conference room with a confident stride, her professional demeanor firmly in place. She was determined to make Taehyung regret his past actions and words by showcasing her competence and resolve.

Taehyung was already seated, reviewing his notes. When he looked up and saw Y/N, a flicker of something-perhaps regret or uncertainty-passed through his eyes. But Y/N remained impassive, giving him a curt nod before taking her seat.

As the meeting began, it quickly became apparent that Y/N was fully prepared. She challenged Taehyung's statements at every turn, her objections precise and well-founded. Each time she spoke, her voice was calm but firm, leaving little room for rebuttal.

"Objection," Y/N said sharply, cutting through Taehyung's explanation. "The evidence presented does not support that conclusion. If you refer to page 23 of the report, you'll see the data clearly contradicts your claim."

Taehyung paused, flipping through his papers. He opened his mouth to respond but found himself at a loss for words. Y/N's relentless logic left him with little to say.

Throughout the meeting, Y/N maintained her professional front, ignoring the personal history between them. She focused solely on the task at hand, each objection a pointed reminder of her capability and independence.

Taehyung's frustration was evident. His usual confidence wavered under Y/N's relentless scrutiny. By the end of the meeting, he seemed subdued, his arguments significantly weakened.

As they adjourned, Taehyung approached Y/N, his expression a mixture of admiration and regret. "Y/N, can we talk?"

Y/N looked at him coolly. "I have nothing more to say to you, Mr. Kim. This is business. Let's keep it that way."

With that, she turned and walked away, leaving Taehyung standing there, the weight of his past mistakes hanging heavily on his shoulders. For the first time, he truly understood the impact of his actions, and he regretted the distance he had created between them.

Y/N, on the other hand, felt a sense of vindication. She had proven her strength and professionalism, not just to Taehyung, but to herself. And as she walked away, she knew she was ready to face whatever came next, with or without him.

The tension between Y/N and Taehyung only grew over the next few meetings. Each session followed a similar pattern: Y/N, impeccably prepared and assertive, objecting to Taehyung's points with precise, well-founded arguments. Taehyung, despite his best efforts, struggled to keep up. The professional atmosphere was charged with an undercurrent of unresolved personal issues.

The head of the meetings, Mr. Park, began to take notice. A seasoned professional with little tolerance for inefficiency, Mr. Park observed the dynamic between Y/N and Taehyung with increasing scrutiny. He had initially been impressed with Taehyung's legal acumen, but the ongoing confrontations with Y/N were beginning to change his perception.
