Don't forget, don't forget, you can't pretend
Don't act like you can fall in love again
While she's still there you won't love another
You can't see in any other colour
Don't say your love was broken from the start
When you know that she still has your whole heart
She is still the girl who made you believe
If this feels hopeless remember to breathe
Let her be the words on your blank pages
She'll draw your life and fill in the spaces
You have already let her in too far
So now let her love heal all of your scars
You'll never forget that she can't fix you
Despite all this madness, she still loves you
She knows how much it would hurt you to leave
But still she would say, don't forget to breathe
