First day.

PRESENT DAY. BRIANNA AND DESTINY'S DORM. UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT.

"You ready for your first day of practice" Brianna asks, packing her cheer bag. "No. Are you gonna be there?" I ask, not knowing how it works.

"Uhm, no. The cheerleaders have their own gymnasium, but sometimes we finish early so i can stop by after practice if you would like that" Brianna says, slipping in her shoes. "Okay, thanks that would be good" I reply, putting my camera and other things in my bag.

I was the team's media manager but I was also their photographer, which I wanted anyway. Geno just gave me the socials and title of both when I got there so I guess that works out.

"I'll walk you into practice" Brianna says, grabbing her car keys. "okay" I reply, grabbing a water bottle.

"And here we are." Brianna says, guiding me into the gymnasium that was filled of the noise from the team.

"I'll text paige and tell her to take you to the cheerleaders gymnasium after ya'll get done. Love you" Brianna says. "mhm. Love you too" I reply as she walks out.

"Destiny!" Paige shouts as she spots me walking in. I notice the girls in the back shooting around and Geno standing behind them looking disappointed.

I also notice a very particular girl whip her head around to look at me. "Hey" I reply, Giving paige a hug. "I'm gonna go talk to Geno" I say, walking towards the man.

"hey" I say nervously. "Ah, destiny! Welcome, practice just started so you can go ahead and set your things right there and just start" Geno instructs me.

I walk over to the bench, putting my things down and picking my camera up. "Destinyy" KK yells, running towards me. "Hi KK" I laugh, pulling her into a hug.

"I know this is a bad conversation starter but please let me and Paige talk to Inês for you" KK pleads. "KK.. I don't know" I sigh. "KK cmon!" Inês yells.

"Alright! i'll talk to you about this later" KK says, running toward the team.

"You gotta send me those pictures" Paige says, throwing her arm over my shoulder as we walk toward the other gymnasium. "You're sweaty, get off!" I shriek, pushing the sweaty blonde girl off of me.

Jana is with us and she's really cool.

"I'm gonna add you to the group chat-" Paige starts before I cut her off. "Oh, Paige, that's not necessary" I shake my head.

"Too late" Jana says, flashing her phone towards me.

Jana changed the group name
