Game Day.

GAMPEL PAVILION. UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT.

Today is the first game of the season. Iowa vs UConn. The first game against Iowa. Which means I can finally see my girls.

It's currently pre game shoot around. People have started coming into the Pavilion. "Destiny" I hear KK call.

"Yeah?" I reply. She points over to the other side of the court where the Iowa girls are coming in, "Look"

"Destiny!" I hear Kennise yell. "NeNe!" I yell back, running full speed towards her. "I missed you so much" I say, engulfing the smaller girl into a hug.

After a few minutes I pull back. "Caitlin!" I scream, walking towards the girl who's so locked in she doesn't even hear me.

"Cait!" I say, now behind her. I watch her turn around, "Destiny!" She yells, hugging me. Before I know it, I'm in a group hug with the whole team.

"I missed you so much." Jada says, still hugging me after the team pulled back. "I missed you more Jades"

"It's been so boring without you" Taylor says. "I can imagine. I'm the only funny one" I say, pulling away from Jada.

Jada rolls her eyes, slapping me across the arm. "Nah bro, Kennise is the one who misses you the most. I swear" Sharon says, shaking her head. "I miss my freshie too" I laugh.

After a few minutes of talking and catching up I decide to go back, "I should probably leave, gotta take pictures and stuff"

"Yeah" Kennise hugs me. "We're gonna kick your team's ass by the way" Kate winks. "i'm not worried about it" I roll my eyes, hugging each girl. After I say a couple more 'good byes' I make my way back to the huskies side.

I take a seat on the bench, looking for a moment to snap a picture. I snap a couple of Paige and KK doing their usual shenanigans.

"And the huskies take it home! 103-97." I hear over the announcements. The huskies won. Iowa lead the first half, but we came back harder than ever after halftime.

I watch as they line up to shake hands. "What happened to 'We're gonna kick your team's ass by the way'?" I tease, walking up ti the hawkeyes.

"shut up" Kate rolls her eyes. "How ling are you guys gonna be here?" I ask, desperate to hang out with the girls.

"Tomorrow" Sharon answers. I nod, "I'm gonna come to your hotel" I wiggle my eye brows.

"Have you talked to her?" Taylor says, looking at me. I was currently in Taylor and Kennises hotel room, bur once the other girls found out I was here they all piled into the room.

Caitlin, Jada, Kate, Gabbie, and Taylor were on Taylors bed. Me, Kennise, Sharon, and Hannah were on Kennises bed. Kylie, Molly, and Aj were on one couch. and Addison and Sydney were on the other.

"Nope. well other than awkward encounters" I sigh. "You should talk to her." Caitlin suggests.
"Absolutely not" I shake my head.
