The Noble House of Black (Pt2)

Hiya! Glad to be back, up and running and all lol. Trigger warnings for this will be abuse, swearing, homophobia and possibly self harm.

"Siri... Siri wake up. Brother... Sirius please," I feel someone nudging me awake from my unconscious state. I open my sore eyes to find my brother, dear Regulus, crying as he looks over me. "Oh thank goodness... You're okay..." Regulus mutters to me, hugging my weakened body in a soft embrace.

Looking at my surroundings, I notice I'm in Regulus's room; tucked into his bed nice and cosy. "Reggie... Regulus. I'm fine, it's okay..." I whisper into his ear, forcing my hand to reach up to his hair and gently stroke it in calm, soothing pets. "I'm okay now, are you okay? Did she do anything to you?" I ask, wiping away my brother's tears.

"No... She didn't do anything... I got you your clothes, do you want to go into m bathroom and change? Only if you're strong enough." Regulus brings over my clothes, neatly folded into a rectangle. Crisp and pristine, just like him. Or, I should say, just like how he presents himself to his peers.

"Alright, stay here. Okay? I'll be back soon." My hand gently leaves Regulus's hair as I limp my way into the bathroom...

Reaching the bathroom door, I go inside and lock it with shaken hands. Whilst I put my clothes down on the top I reach for the oh so familiar blade that hangs around my neck. Gently undoing it, I press the comforting cold edge of the blade to my wrist. I cry as I do it, knowing I'm betraying  the promise I made to Remus. But he won't know. He'll never know...

After I get myself changed and bandaged up, I come out of the bathroom with sadness weighing on my heart. It was the last day of summer holiday, I could make it through. Of course I will.

As my arms sting, I walk downstairs sullenly to have dinner with the family. It's cold and unforgiving, I'm given only a slice of chicken.

I was lucky tonight.

Sorry this was really short, I'm still getting used to writing again after ages. I'd like to think my writing has gotten better over the years but who knows!
Will probably post a fluffy wolfstar fic next btw.
