Chapter 4: the attack

N ones POV

"Shit close the door!" Edgar yells and Colette closes it just in time for the tank to fire on the steel door, "holy shit! There's a dent!" Colette screamed "you two *cough* *cough* bring me to the bunker and we will use the BTR to get the hell out of here!" Coughed mortis "yes sir, Colette bring him to the bunker!" Edgar commanded "wait Edgar what about you?!" She questioned "just go! You don't have that much time!" He yelled and she carried mortis to the bunker

Edgar's POV

I heard the e heavy door close on me I grab my AK47 and charge forward. Soon 5 American soldiers stand in front of me "hey we got one commie bastard" one said "well this will be an easy commie" another one said "shut up you capitalist bastards!" I yell back "woah easy, Edgar." One told me "how do you know my name!" I yell back while aiming my AK47, "you were from the USA working for us in the military, but you had a outbreak about how capitalism is bad and left" one yelled "shut your fucking mouth YOU CAPITALIST BITCHES" I yell while charging and fixing my bayonet "FIRE" one yells and the rest fire, but they can't hit me due to me dodging the bullets. I hide behind a flipped table and aimed, the I fired BAM BAM BAM, I killed 3 of them "shit sir we have to retreat!-" one was cut of cuz I shot the hell out of his head "shit, YOU KILLED MY WHOLE FUCKING TEAM!" The last one yelled and fired his M4 "blah blah blah your next" I whispered to myself and hit him on the chest "AUGH SHIT" he groaned in pain "well my friend, time to die" I whispered in his ear and let him die to blood loss

No one's POV

As Edgar was breathing in air as he just killed 5 American soldiers the employees in the bunker got in the BTR except Colette. "Colette we got to get the fuck out of here!" Mortis yelled to Colette while she was looking out the door in horror "no! We can't leave someone in there and die!" She yelled back "well I'm sorry but we have to go! Take the ATV if you change your mind!" He yelled and closed the door and left the complex. Meanwhile with Edgar with AK in hand stood waiting for American, British or any NATO troops to come thru he would kill "*cough* *cough* you forgot about me bitch!" A voice yelled weakly at the wall "shit I did not kill you" Edgar cursed himself, he got up and walked to the surviving American soldier "what is it bitch?" Edgar questioned "well we Americans don't retreat, we fight" said the soldier and right at words he said he had 20 pounds of dynamite on him "what huh!? How did you get that?!" Edgar questioned while pointing his rifle at him "well your armory has dynamite from dynamike" the soldier said. "SHIT" Edgar yelled and ran to the steel door pounding on it "Colette open up!" He yelled "I can't it's locked!" She yelled back "shit. Well if I'm going to go, I have to say something" Edgar said to Colette "well, I love you" Edgar told Colette "wait what?" She said while tearing up "just do something. Remember me" he calmly said and with that the automatic safety trigger activated and pulled Colette to the ATV and started the drive "wait Edgar NOO" she yelled but she knew, he was long gone tears seeped into her sweatshirts sleeve, but the ATV hit a rock and crashed "ouch!" She yelled as she got up, but once she got up she saw something horrifying. The entire base has blown up in smoke. "NOOO FUCK FUCK FUCK" she cried as she pounded the hard grass, and did that for hours till the smoke has cleared from the base. She ran back to the base hoping for Edgar to still be alive, once she got there there was rubble everywhere and NATO soldiers walking the area, she tried to find any sign of Edgar in the rubble but to no avail "hey you! Get down on the ground" one soldier said when he spotted her but she did not listen, she kept on looking till she found something, a black and white scarf. She began to dig as much rubble as possible till she found a huge rock on Edgar, she tried to lift it but to no avail, "need help?" One soldier asked, she didn't care less she just wanted to find her true love alive "o-ok" she sniffed and they both lifted the rock finding a Edgar on the floor not moving "wait let me check" the soldier said and checked the pulse "he is alive but in a coma" he explained to Colette as she was looking down at the body of Edgar, constant yelling for calls for a ambulance were made but she kept on eye contact only separating once he was on the ambulance "will he be ok?" Colette asked poco "well your amigo will be in a coma but we don't know how long or when he will wake up" poco responded as he closed the door and left.

Colette's POV

I followed the ambulance to Moscow's hospital and watched them bring Edgar in with hundreds of other people watching. After that I went back to my apartment, sad that my first and only true love is in a coma "why? Why him?!" I cried in my bed and cried myself to sleep. I woke up and skipped breakfast to go to the hospital to check on Edgar in room 158. "Hey Eddie." I whispered into his ear and watched him just laying on the bed. "Uhh colette your time is up" a doctor said and left "ok but one more thing!" I yelled back and right after the words I said I gave Edgar a kiss on the cheek and left the hospital knowing that he will be ok.
