Chapter 7: the offer

No one's POV

"Well that's it goodnight everyone!" The chief yelled to his officers "goodnight!" The rest said "hey Shelly wanna come over for a drink?" Colt asked "I can't but I'll do it next week!" Shelly responded "ok" colt said sounding defeated "well see you tomorrow" colt said while exiting the door, only Shelly and another cop was inside "well that's all my papers goodnight Shelly-" he was interrupted by a gun and knife to his neck and head "well your the only one here so I should finish you of amigo" Shelly whispered into the cops ear "wait! No please! I have a life to come to I just joined-" and soon he was on the floor blood gushing out of his head "well a that's another cop down" Shelly sighed and left the station making the body rot to dead. She drove to her house and hanged her clothes but went down in the basement with the smell of drugs and alcohol "Oi Shelly!" Someone yelled "aye mi amigo bull" Shelly yelled back "so what happened?" Asked bull "cop dead" Shelly responded "ok boss now we have just recruited 10 more people l, so what's the deal plan?" Asked bull "we wait till crimes happen and when that happens we make our move" Shelly grinned.

Back with Edgar

Well today's a good day because a police station gave me a job! "Morning Colette" I whisper into her ear "wow someone's awake" she responds "well the police station has asked to hire me and I said yes!" I have quietly yell "that's good" Colette said and we both got up and got ready.

10 minutes later

As me and Colette were ready I gave her a good luck kiss and off I went to get a job in a new country! As I walk there I could see the skyline, it was not that crazy like city's and it was not that crazy on rural areas but they did have a few skyscrapers, not as much as Moscow but was still futuristic. "Finally I'm here"  I thought and went in only to see something horrifying. A dead cop on the floor. Other cops were around the decaying cop Making me wanna throw up, "hey newcomers witnessing a dead body that's nothing new" a familiar voice went thru my ear "wait Mortis!?" I quietly yelled "yea I can't end my military service just laying around" Mortis laughed "chief we found a 9mm bullet on the floor" a officer told Mortis "ok put it in a bag and I'll investigate it, thanks colt" Mortis responded and colt ran off, "wait your a chief!?" I yelled "well yes" but something made me have shivers, "so you ready for your test?" Mortis said in a terrifying tone "well this will be a long day.

After 9 hours

"Ok your strength and speed is great, close combat is amazing and tomarrow is your gun test" Mortis said "thank you sir!" I yell while in his office "meet here at 5 AM don't be late" Mortis reminded me and I thanked him and left his office, but was greeted by 2 officers "uh hi?" I greeted "hello I'm colt!" The red head said "and I'm Shelly!" She also said "so you're going to be a new officer?" Asked Shelly "yes I am" I say enthusiastically "well after that you get to see some real action!" Colt yelled "but that's tomorrow" "yea... but I got to head back to my house, see you guys later!" I say and left into my car. I was so excited I drove 95 on a 80! But the police caught me, but as I look at there car they were different, no not the police, the military. I could see there uniform which was a red and yellow color one was huge and one looked like a female. "Hey open up the window" a robotic voice tapped "yes what is it" I say while pulling down my window "you were speeding, license and registration please the female asked "yea sure my a go into my glove compartment?" I ask "sure" and I took it out "I'll need to look at this, surge can you watch him?" The woman asked "yep max" sure said. 2 minutes later. "Ok your files check out, have a nice day" max said "ok you too" I say in response and drive home 

At the house no one's POV

"Hey where Dre you Edgar? Questioned Colette "oh I accidentally went over the speed limit and got pulled over" Edgar responded "oh that's sad, but how was the police training?" The female asked "oh it was great!" Edgar continued until he was out of breath "oh wow, well you need some rest, goodnight Edgar" Colette said while getting into bed "night" Edgar said and a few minutes, they were fast asleep.
