Chapter 8: shootout

No one's POV

As Edgar got to the police station and sat down waiting for Mortis, "ok Edgar your up" Mortis said while peeking out of his door, and I went inside. Seeing his desk I took a seat "ok Edgar you have a 9/10 on your test, you need a 9.5/10 to pass" Mortis informed "so now your going to do your shooting test and a real test, testing about close range and ranged fighting" morris added "yes sir" I responded "ok now gun test" Mortis said and led Edgar into the gun practice area "you will be training with a Glock 19, M4 carbine and a mossburg shotgun" Mortis said while pointing to the guns "so are you ready?" He questioned "yes I am" Edgar said while picking up the Glock 19 and a BANG echoed.

Back with Colette

Colette was checking the vault at the bank she worked at till she heard a voice "hi I'm Nita! I'm new here!" The girl said "oh wow your new!? Come with me to the managers office!" Colette asked "sure!" Then they were off. At the same time a shady woman with other men in ski masks enter the bank "hands up everyone!" One robber yells and shoots his shotgun in the air, scaring everyone, but they had to obey, "where is the key for the vault!" The female asked the front desk "I-i-it's with the manager" the front desk quivers. Meanwhile Colette and Nita heard the shot "what was that?!" Nita screams "it's a robbery!" Colette says while ducking down "I'll call 911" Colette says and dials it

On the call.

Officer: "this is 911 what's your emergency"

Colette: "there is a robbery in the bank!"

Officer: "ok we will send the SWAT team"

Colette: "ok but hurry! They are coming up the stairs!"

Officer: "ok but what type of weapon do they have?" 

Colette: "shotguns"

Officer: "ok we will be there in a jif"

End call

Police station

"Hey chief we got a problem" the officer said "what is it?" Mortis asked "a bank robbery" the officer replied "ok I'll send in the SWAT team" Mortis said "hey Edgar" Mortis yelled "what is it?" "Our SWAT team is missing one person, Shelly. Can you take her place?" "Wait chief I did not finish my training!" "This is your final test if you come back alive, and a get a good report you are in, and part of SWAT" "ok then!" Edgar said "SWAT!" Mortis yelled and 9 men in black suits with armor come fast "this is Edgar, he is new so treat him like you want to be treated guys ok?" Mortis asked "yes sir!" The team said and ran to the APC out back "Edgar, go your apart of the team" Mortis pushed "oh sorry sir!" Edgar said while running,

Edgar's POV

I ran to the back seeing a black APC with a machine gun on top with a gunner on "aye get this thing running!" He slaps the top "ok ok but we have to wait for him" the driver said, I could hear him faintly, I look and see the door open and see colt "aye! Edgar get in!" He yells and I run in. "Hey who is the new guy?" One asked "oh he is Edgar, in training for the SWAT team Brock" colt said "oooh welcome to the team" Brock said "he is crow, team leader, he is ruffs," said Brock and etc "aye ready to go" the driver yelled to the back "yep yep!" The team said in unison. "Ok, ruffs and Brock you go from the top by entering they there, the rest is with me distracting the robbers" crow said to the team "Edgar hbu are staying with colt, so if he runs you run got it?" Crow asked "ok I got it" I say "yo we here guys!" The gunner yelled, "ok now you 2 go now" crow commands and both Brock and ruffs climb the ladder leading to the roof. "We won't surrender!" A robber said while ducked on a flowerbed "surrender now! No one needs to be hurt!" Crow shouts in a megaphone, but was responded by silence for about 20 seconds, I look at colt seeing him ducked on the APC, but that ended by shotgun fire from the bank, "open fire!" Crow yelled and I fired my M4 giving cover fire "I wonder if Colette is ok in the bank" I thought.

Meanwhile inside the bank (no one's POV)

"Nobody move! If you do you will die without hesitation!" A grunt yelled while aiming his shotgun at the clerks, while other grunts were firing outside ruffs and Brock enter the second floor "I'll go see the vault and you go check the right side" brock whispered as they hear shotgun fire and ruffs nods in agree and they both split up. But at that same time Colette and Nita were crawling to an exit door "were almost there!" Nita whispers but a figure with purple hair, black uniform, a ski mask and of course a shotgun in hand "ah some people are here, seems like you have a amiga with you" the figure says to the females "Nita stay back" Colette whispers, soon she try's to attack but failed by being head butted by the butt of the gun "ugh" she whispers to herself as the only thing she can hear was "Shelly we need your help!". Then darkness flowed thru her eyes.

Inside the bank (still no one's POV)

As the pedestrians ducked behind anything to cover from bullet fire ruffs made his way down to the inside balcony, but was spotted by a grunt "hey what the-" the grunt was cut of to a gun to his head "shut up and hands up" ruffs whispered to the grunt and handcuffed him. Meanwhile Brock was closing in to the vault till he heard a loud BANG, he looked over to see a dead cop next to the vault with a grunt and his shotgun sizzling "shit, these guys are ruthless. Got to get my suppressor on" Brock thought and put it on and with a PSSS, PSSS the grunt was on the floor. "Vault has not been opened yet" Brock radioed back to crow and heard a simple 'copy' on the radio. outside colt was getting impatient he wanted to shoot some bad guys but has to take cover "for fucking sake can we just kill the son of a bitches!" Colt yelled "colt we need to wait" crow said in response "fuck this shit I'm getting a Blackhawk air support!" Colt yelled and called it in. A few minutes later everyone could feel a powerful push of air, even the people inside. The Blackhawk was here. "Heli see the grunts?!" Colt yelled into the radio "yep see them all" the gunner radioed back "well rain hell on them!".

Sorry for not updating in a while I was at my scout camp which was a week long so sorry about that!
