*Macau pov*

"And that marks the end of class, you are dismissed" the prof voice wavers in my head as I droop in and out of sleep
But as soon as he dismissed us I completely woke up and started to pack up

"Macau stay back a bit" prof suggested as he clears some of the paperwork off of his desk

Curious I walk up arms crossed, "everything alright, it's not my grades right" I nervously said, hia does not want to see me fail

The prof laughs as he waves me off "no not exactly but there is a requirement for high school grad, I'm suprise you haven't heard of it I assume, it's more for college entrance exams really"

Now that I thought about it, I have heard a few people talk about it before but I just assumed I wasn't in that groups minority

I shook my head "im not going into art and music field, so I don't think that's necessary" I explained hoping that would be the end of it but he just kept talking

"You sure, it could boost up your grades"
I stopped then turned back around "how much are we talking" I smirked

A few days later

I stood outside of Kim's room fidgeting
It's just a simple question, i thought, just a simple question, i reassure myself  once more before bringing my  hand up to knock on Kim's door

Then I bring my hand back
Nope can't do do, he said not to bother him anymore

I groaned, why isn't anyone else good at the guitar

After a deep breath I finally knocked on his door,

Kim answered, looking a bit bothered
I nervously chuckled then quickly stuck my foot in before he can close the door shut
Bad idea

Oww that hurts, I flinch in pain
For a quick second I see kim looking concerned before his coolness came back and cleared his throat
"What do you want" he sneers

I gulped "there's this thing, it's uh like a small elective thing mainly for college entrance exams" I stutters while kim raises his eyebrows at me

"Look can you teach me how to play the guitar" I quickly asked

"Ok"

"I mean I know you don't want to but like you're the onl- wait what" I stopped rambling once I realized that kim said yes
I look at him shocked "really" I questioned

He nods then tilted his head inside to follow him and so I did

I walked slowly inside his room and took a look around to see it practically empty but a bunch of boxes
"You still haven't unpacked" I questioned confused

Kim shrugs "why should I, I might go on tour soon or something"

I hummed

Kim walks to his bed and brought out his guitar then tunes it a little before Patting the seat next to me

“Alright, Macau,” Kim began, handing a guitar to his cousin. “First, let’s make sure you’re holding it right. See how I’m positioning it against my body?”

I adjusted the guitar in my lap, imitating Kim's posture. “Like this?”

“Exactly,” Kim said with a smile. “Now, place your fingers here on the fretboard.” He demonstrated the placement for a simple G chord.

I tried to follow along but fumbled slightly. “Is this right?”

Kim leaned closer, adjusting my fingers gently. “Almost. Just move your index finger a bit higher. There you go. Now, try strumming.”

I strummed the strings, producing a somewhat awkward sound. I laughed nervously. “I don’t think that’s how it’s supposed to sound.”

Kim chuckled. “It’s okay. It takes practice. Let’s try it again, but this time, press down a little harder on the strings.”

I nodded and tried again. This time, the chord sounded clearer. “Hey, that’s better!”

“See? You’re getting it!” Kim said encouragingly. “Now, let’s move to another chord. This one is a C major. Watch my fingers.”

They continued practicing, with Kim patiently guidin me through each step. Our conversations flowed easily, filled with jokes and encouragement.

“Why don’t we try putting those chords together?” Kim suggested after a while. “We’ll switch from G to C and back.”

“Alright,” i agreed, focusing intently. I started to play, my  transitions were a bit rough, but improving with each attempt.

“Great job!” Kim exclaimed. “You’re picking this up really quickly. Just remember, it’s all about practice.”

I  grinned. “Thanks, Kim. I couldn’t do it without you.”

Kim blush as he ducks his head
"Not a problem cau" he smiles

In a distance We heard vegas yelling, I cleared my throat as I gave the guitar back "I should probably check on on my hia"

Kim nods "yea you should" he smiles as he turns to his guitar

I walked off but not before slightly looking back and walk off again

I closed the door once outside and leans against the wall as my heart thump fast
