NYL SS: kinnvegas 2

Vegas plops on the bed panting as him and kinn just got done with their bonding
He looks to the side to see kinn smiling at him

With a gruff voice kinn speaks "happy 1 month"

Vegas smiles as he snuggles closer "happy one month to you, and I  wish I could spend the whole day but of course I have to sneak out before anyone noticed in here" He sarcastically spoke

Within one month after both kinn and vegas proclaimed their love, they continued to sneak around, not letting anyone know of their encounters

It's a dangerous game they are both playing and somehow it's a bit of a turn on for both of them

In only one month, they almost got caught at least 5 times with half of them being by tankhun

"Well I have to go, ya know training and all that" vegas flings his arms around to express his exaggeration before turning around "just be ready for tonight, remember your cover story" he smirked

Kinn Chuckled "just you, me and an abandoned safe house I can't wait" he punctuates as he backed hugged vegas who playfully rolls his eyes and push kinn away with a finger to his chest
"Cover story, learn it"  vegas express before walking off

Kinn laughs as he happily plops back on the bed

But little did he know, a storm was brewing today

Kinn walks into the meeting room to find his father glaring at something with a confused Kim by his side

Korn looks up and storms to kinn "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN" he angerly yells

With confusion, kinn spoke "um waking up"

With frustration korn sighed "you are lucky your nong is in the room" he pushed kinn harshly before returning back to his seat

"Papa papa where's khunn I wanna play with him" a confused Kim asked

Looking around, kinn realized that tankhun wasn't here, "papa where is hia tankhun" he asked

"Where you think kinn" he sneers, "our useless bodyguards didn't protect him enough, he's gone" korn spoke as his voice got higher

"Hey don't call them useless" Kim defended angerly

Kinn gasped as korn spoke again muttering "I bet this is all your uncle's doing" he snarks "not good people the second family"

"HEY DONT INCLUDE MACAU IN THAT" Kim yells as he steps on korns foot and slaps his face before running to his room
(A/n I love writing little Kim lol)

Kinns face turned sterned "what do you want us to do then"

"I already talked with kan, we're splitting up the family" korn spoke with a dark look on his face "and I want no contact with them until tankhun is found"

Kinn froze as he took this in, if he listened to korn then he's likely to become the next heir but lose vegas
But if he chose vegas then their relationship is still doomed

He gulps "I understood papa" he speaks

Korn nods approved "good, now come with me, we'll get started with the next step of our plan

"You go ahead first papa, I need to do something real quick"

"Very well, meet me in the weapons room in a bit" korn said as he left the room while kinn gets out his phone and dial a familiar number

"I'm sorry gas it's for the best" he whispered to himself and calls vegas before chickening out

The other line picks up but before they can talk, kinn quickly speaks "I think we should stop whatever we are" kinn bites his lips to stop his tears "let's stop this, i was wrong, you are not the one for me" he speaks once more before hanging up and going to meet up with korn without a tear in sight

Meanwhile in the minor manor, vegas was walking into the sight of kan almost hitting Macau who was in tears

With anger vegas storms to him and push him way "why pa, we made a deal" he screams as he protected Macau

Kan sneers "then tell your nong not to talk back to me"

Vegas sighed as he shook his head and face his nong "cau, why Don't you go draw in your room, I'll play with you in a little bit" he spoke softly

Macau nodded as he rushes to his room

Vegas stood up with an angry glare "we made a deal old man, the only person you can hit is me"

Kan rolls his eyes as he walks to his office "yadda yadda, Anyways, did you hear the news"

Crossing his arms Vegas asked "what news"

"Tankhun went missing and now your uncle is putting the blame on us" kan scoffed "as if this can even be my plan"

Vegas eyes widen "tankhuns missing" he proclaimed shocked

"Yep and now we are splitting up the family, we are on our own, which is good because now I can be more powerful than korn" he evilly laughs as he stood up "it's all in due time vegas, before we become the most powerful mafia family" he snarks as he leaves

Vegas sighs "I so need a vacation.... or torture someone, I don't know it's undecided" he mutters

Just then his phone rang and he picks up before he could speak, a familiar voice rings out "I think we should stop whatever we are"

Confused vegas tries speaking again but kinn stops him "let's stop this, I was wrong, you are not the one for me" then he hanged up

Vegas let out a deep breath as he stared at the phone in shock,
Then he scoffed "did he seriously chose being heir over me" he spoke wetly

Then he laughs in disbelief "Unbelievable" he shook his head but then fell on the couch holding back tears

Then a small pitter patter of a toddler's feet enters the room and clings on his hia
"H-hia sad" Macau spoke questioning in a tiny voice

Then Macau climbs on the couch and hugs vegas "don't be sad hia cau here" Macau comfort him, as vegas hugs him back tears finally flowing

How we feeling so far!?

♡ So I was rereading the main story and there was a part near the end where Vegas was talking to Macau about love and Macau asked how he knew that, and it just gave me this idea lol

♡ canonically for this story tankhun was missing for the entire day and was brought back by nighttime, but is still his Canon series self

♡ I'm still deciding if the side story should be like 3-4 chapters before the events of NYL and maybe 2 chapters during the events of NYL
