Jj and Will were now on a break, but still living in the same apartment co-parenting. However, in this very moment, interviews were being finished as well as Garcia and Prentiss tracking down any other alumnus to maybe help with the case.
Thomas was waiting at his desk for Chrissy with jones standing near by.
"So, the engagement party's tonight?" Jones started small talk.
Thomas nodded, "Yep."
Jones sighed, "It's gonna be real awkward."
"Just stay close to Chris and you'll be fine. My team isn't that bad."
"I'm their only suspect and to be honest, why haven't they dropped my name by now? They haven't had anything on me." Jones brought up a really good question that Thomas hadn't thought about.
"I'll see what i can do."
Just when he said that, Chrissy came walking into the office area from the hall with jj and Morgan trailing behind. Thomas immediately noticed and met her halfway with jones behind him.
He wrapped his arms around his fiancé before cupping her face, "Did you play nice?"
Chrissy lightly smiled at his comment, "I answered their questions the best i could." She looked towards her brother, "And i did not contradict you in anyway, not that there's anything to contradict."
Thomas' hands soon met his sides, "Speaking of that, im gonna talk to my boss. Give me ten minutes, guys."
Just as he began to walk off, Chrissy grabbed his arm and turned to jones, "Give us a second?" Soon she turned to face Thomas once jones headed the other direction, "Is it a good idea that they're coming to the party or your brother? I mean, they're trying to lockup my brother, they took you off the case cause you're human and well, Dean tried to break us up."
