Dinner and honesty

 Friday 7:40 AM

The entire week was a blur, I was full of homework, and tests scheduled, and I also had to keep up with the classes. I blinked and this week was already ending, gladly I won't have to travel this weekend. I got to school, I was back to driving my Ferrari 458 Italia, and this time I parked closer to school because I just didn't want to walk much more than necessary.

I was walking through the corridors when Tristan walked up to me. I've been trying to avoid him all week, all that Elmo jokes really got on my nerves. Thankfully my face skin has shed entirely, and now I'm back to normal.

"Thank God we got Lizzy back." He said chuckling, I gave him a death stare and kept walking. "What's up? We have barely talked this week."

"And my life has been greater than ever." I reply dryly.

"Okay, not really into talking are you? Guess I'll be responsive for today's conversation topics." I got to my locker, my back facing him. "My parents told me that today we'll have a special dinner." I ignored him.

"And you won't believe." He said continuing. "It's in this house of a family that moved in recently to Stars Hollow." I look in his eyes.

"Have fun." I say closing my locker and walking away. He followed me behind.

"Oh, you don't know the most interesting part." He says smirking "They are my parent's business partners." He makes a dramatic pause. "And the interesting thing is they just came from Italy." I froze, I looked at him and his classic smirk was still plastered all over his stupid face.

He doesn't know I am Italian, but he also knows that I'm not from here. There is no chance this family can be any other than my own. What are the chances that another family from Italy, who are into business just moved to the smallest town ever called Stars Hollow? How could I not know this, why didn't my parents tell me?

"Once again, have fun." I reply to him trying to pretend I wasn't taken aback.

He knew it was my family, he knew everything, and now he knows that I'm a Ferrari even before Rory knows. I have to tell her as soon as possible. I left Tristan behind and headed to class.

Time skip

Friday 4:00 PM

Classes were over and I felt the urge to talk to Rory, so I rushed to my locker hoping to meet her, and she was nowhere to be seen. I put my things in my locker and waited, waited and Rory wouldn't show up. I was starting to get anxious but soon enough she arrived.

"What took you so long?" I asked.

"Since when do you time when I get to my locker?" She asked looking at me as if I was weird.

"Rory, I have to confess something to you." I say closing my eyes dramatically.

"Sure"

"I lied to you, I do have an Instagram." I thought this was a good way to soft-launch who I actually was.

"Oh that's okay" She replied confusedly. "Did you just not want to give it to me? Are you embarrassed about it?" I handed her my phone with my Instagram profile open.

Her mouth dropped. She spent what seemed like forever in silence just scrolling through my pictures and looking at my highlights.

"Uhm I have to go." Rory said handing me back my phone and leaving in a rush.

I stood there trying to understand what had just happened, was she mad? Angry? Did she feel betrayed? I couldn't know. I thought about immediately texting her but I didn't for two reasons. Probably she needs time to process all this and also I didn't do much wrong, I mostly omitted things, I only lied about my Instagram and a tire change, which doesn't seem like much of a reason for me to apologize.
