The golden dust in the air started moving around and started making images as Jackson began to tell her the story.

"A really, really long time ago, the humans used to worship the dragons, considering them a symbol of immortality and strength. They lived in peace, actually. The dragons, or weredragons, the mythical animals, minded their own business. While humans made temples for offerings to dragons, you know, in good times, the people even traded with werewolf and imugi villages for the knowledge of medicine and medical plants for food and cloth supplies.

But the peace didn't exist along time as something evil happened to take place. The weredragons, which were known to be strong and majestic, started to send burnt parchment, which almost looked like messages, but people thought they were just used to mocking them. But they didn't know that they were actually being distorted by someone else. Humans decided to ignore that, but everything changed when a very injured weredragon one day appeared in a village that was on the western borders of the kingdom. The people rushed to help since they were huge believers and followers.

'The greater evil is here; it'll destroy everything. Be aware.' The weredragon turned into a pile of ash, leaving the world behind. The villagers informed the King about this, and the King sent messagers to weredragons for more information, but they never appeared back. The rumours that said the weredragons were rebelling against humans were told, but the king never believed them as he was wise and old. He didn't want to believe that the dragons who lived with humans in peace for aeons would just start acting against humans.

One day, the door of the castle was open for a young man with a crown that was made from dragon bones in his head. He entered the palace, claiming that he had a way of killing dragons. The young man only thought of fame and wealth, but seeing the dragon bone crown, the king laughed as if it were a joke, saying that it was pure bullshit, but the man summoned a gigantic three-headed beast that turned the king's humour into fear. He feared what the man was saying was true. The young dragon slayer never got the fame that he expected. The king put him on charges for treason and disgrace, saying he had harmed the holy animals of the god.

The man cursed at the king and fled from the king's wrath. After some time passed, something strange started to occur. Many villages located in the outer palace were destroyed. People disappeared mysteriously. If you went to the capital for business, spent the night there, and went back to your village, there was a ninety percent chance for the village to be either destroyed or disappeared with only the burnt marks and ashes. The king believed it was a greater deed of evil than demons. He wished for the help of the priests of the high temple.

The priests at first refused to help as they didn't have knowledge of certain matters. With the high temple being the main medical centre of the kingdom, dozens of hundreds of people came there day and night, wishing for the help of the priests or for medical assistance. One day, hearing that the priests refused to help, all the harmed humans surrounded the temple, which was situated at the highest point of the kingdom. They kneeled on the ground, singing the prayers and wailing towards the god and the priests of the temple.
