"Danielle," David started, approaching the girl who was sitting at dining table, working intently on science homework, "your mother and I were thinking," the man exchanged a glance with his wife, who was standing beside him, "that maybe-"

"That maybe you should join an after school activity," interrupted Ana with an eager smile, hoping that their daughter would be interested in something.

"Like what?" asked the girl, not looking up from her astronomy booklet.

"Well, whatever you want! Dance, singing, drama, music lessons...sports!...anything!"

Dani made a face.

"I think I'm good," she told them, obviously content with her lifestyle, "I'm not really good at that kinda stuff.'

"Are you sure?" her father inquired, unconvinced, "you could go into karate, or tai kwon do, or judo...?"

"I'm good dad. I'm not very good at that kind of stuff either."

"You'll never know unless you try," he reasoned, attempting to appeal to her. They wanted her to make friends, to become more involved in the community.

"I don't wanna hurt people."

5 YEARS LATER....ON THE NEMESIS

2 more Earth weeks had passed, and Megatron watched as his team matured into a functioning squadron, one that worked together in sync, as precise as clockwork. He was extremely proud of this accomplishment, and a sense of victory rushed through him as he considered the time and effort he had invested into the small group of half-human, and felt they were well spent. They had the skills required of them, and the mind-sets of true Decepticons.

He was pleased with the outcomes of each of their individual skill training as well. The times he spent with each one personally, adapting his fighting style each time until he could determine a pattern in their own, and this proved to be an effective strategy in approaching their learning. Each showed a valuable aptitude for qualities useful amongst their ranks. Lee, obviously, was growing into a more skilled medic, according to Knockout's reports, but he also showed diligence, and extreme, unshakable loyalty outside the combat zone. Within, however, he showed willpower, determination with a ferocity that couldn't be matched.

Hope, from the start of her training, showed agility, and the ability to react quickly to changes in her environment. She was excellent at dodging and responding to blows, able to process the move fast enough and form a reaction in her mind easily. Her reactions usually consisted partially of a retaliation. She had a speciality for avoiding blasts. Her slightly psychotic mind set, however, made her subject to fits of rage and carelessness.

Drake showed ruthlessness and strength- something that reminded Megatron of himself- when on the battlefield. He gave combat everything he could, every ounce of strength he could muster, every bit of his attention, and he refused to let emotion or hesitation stand in his way. He fought with a purpose, and that was to win. Off the battlefield, however, the boy- also like the Warlord- had a hot head, his temper usually flaring.

Danielle demonstrated useful skills both on and off the battlefield. On the battlefield, she was cool, collected, and calculated each move made by him. She was an organized person, this Megatron had noticed. She was memorizing his moves, and finding any repeats, then prepared beforehand how to respond to them. The mech knew it, he didn't have to hear it verbally stated or admitted. Off the field of combat, however, she showed complete emotional control, and she showed the ability to think rationally; more rationally than the rest.
