I felt a sweat drop from my forehead when he said that, have we been found out?

"Now that you've mentioned it Tails.... he does look quite familiar. I wonder where I've seen him?" Lilia said as she glanced at Mau. I felt my heart drop, "Pardon? He just seems like a normal guy to me...?" I tried to laugh it off, but the both of them were suddenly looking at Mau intensely.

"..."

However, both of them suddenly looked at me before bursting out laughing. Lilia was already on the verge of tears as she told me while trying to stop laughing, "Lol, Shadow! We were just joking! You looked like you had seen a ghost, given how pale you are!" Tails then added, "Yeah, I mean c'mon... he just looks like a normal guy. What are you trying to say, he's secretly famous?"

Well, at least you got that joke right.

I then rolled my eyes at them, "Keep on laughing, time is precious after all~!" I said, smirking at the number of things they still haven't done yet. With so many books and papers strewn all over the table, the lunch table felt more like a study table. Mau abruptly leaned in to inspect Tails' architecture plate, surprising me because I didn't realize he had already finished buying his lunch and was sitting next to me.

"Oh wow, your drawings look amazing!" Mau exclaimed as he stared in amazement at Tails's work. But Tails only sighed, "Thanks, but it is nowhere as good as the others. Honestly, I don't think I could pull another all-nighter to finish three more." Lilia then laughed, but it lacked the energy as compared to earlier. "Hey, sleep is only for the weak! Only four more nights to go and we could finally enjoy two days' worth of sleep." Lilia said, quickly flipping the pages of her reviewer. I took a bite of my food before I asked her, "How can you properly study like that if you just keep on scanning your reviewer??" Lilia then told me to stop talking to her, and I obliged. "And what about you, Shadow? How is the accounting course doing for you?" Mau asked me before he took a bite of his waffle.

Damn, I could never get used to talking with my idol after all.

"It's alright in some aspects, my only complaint is that I lack sleep. I need sleep to study well in advance to not get behind." I told Mau. Even if I was the only one in this entire cafeteria who knew that he was Mau, the main vocalist of Daydream, I felt more pressure than ever. "Ho-how about you, Sonic? Are you catching up well?" I asked, fidgeting my fork. Mau nodded with a smile as he gulped down his food, "Yeah! I found it so fun to learn! And I caught up with the rest of the topics quickly! I never knew accounting could be so fun." Even if that was from my favorite idol, it felt like he had just hit a vulnerable part of me. Tails and Lilia knew that's why were snickering to themselves as I glared at them. "Why? What's wrong?" Mau asked, looking at the three of us.

"Hahaha, compared to Shadow, you seem more relaxed while studying accounting. He's smart, but he tends to pressure himself too much." Lilia said. "Ohh, do you not enjoy accounting Shadow?" Mau asked me. But I shook my head, "I enjoy it. They're just overanalyzing everything I've been doing ever since I became the Student council president." I answered Mau while still glaring at the two of them.  When lunchtime was over, me and Mau then headed to the rest of our classes for the day. It went pretty well, and he was able to become acquainted with our classmates. When our last class of the day ended, I saw Mau walking out of the classroom with some people that he already become friends with.

I then smiled, it was good to see him adjusting well to this new environment. The rest of the class then walked out one by one, until it was only me inside the classroom. I intended to become last since I was tasked by our professor to turn off all of the lights and make sure that all the classroom equipment was in place before leaving. When I confirmed that everything was in place, I then locked the door of the classroom. When I turned around, I was surprised to see Mau standing in front of me with his hands in his pockets. "Why are you the one tasked to lock the classroom? Isn't that the job of security guards?" Mau asked. I then smiled, "It's because there's important equipment inside, that's why our professor gave me the task of locking the doors before leaving."
