Same morning when Samaira came back

When you think that Sunday mornings are meant to be peaceful for everyone, you're wrong, brother. Welcome to the SMR family, where peace is a rare guest. The chaos outside in the hall is enough to wake anyone from their sleep. Every worker is running around the house—some doing laundry, others cleaning, some watering the plants, and a few rearranging things here and there. But it's not just the workers—my sister Kiara is also in the mix, and of course, I'm right there with her, jumping into the whirlwind of activity.

Sundays are supposed to be restful, right? For the leading sensations of the business world, they should be a time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the quiet. But not in our home. Here, both Kiara and I have the important duty of dusting our respective rooms, cleaning the home office, and even tidying up the gaming room. We also have to organise our closets, and only after all those chores are done can we finally head to the bathroom to freshen up. It's not until everything is in order that we get our well-earned breakfast—made with love by our precious mom, who somehow manages to keep everything running smoothly.

It's a far cry from the peaceful Sundays I had imagined, but it's the way things are in the SMR household.

Earlier Papa used to help us but now.

Everything has changed.

Just because of her.

And this routine isn't just followed in the Sehgal household, it's the same in the Mehrotra and Rajvanshi homes too. We all have a set of chores to do, no matter how busy or important our weekends are supposed to be.

Avyansh sometimes manages to escape this whirlwind of responsibility, thanks to his profession. Lucky bastard. But not me, Yuvraj, Kiara, and Samriddhi. We have no such luck. The chores are a part of our routine, and we all pitch in, no exceptions. While Avyansh might get a bit of leeway, the rest of us are always in the thick of things, whether it's dusting, organising, or making sure the house runs smoothly. It's just the way things go in our families—hard work doesn't stop, even on Sundays.
