With a quick tug, you tighten the holster on your thigh to make sure it doesn't slip off, as this time, it's resting on your bare skin. It feels a bit unusual, but not too uncomfortable. With your eyes on the gun resting in the holster, you lower the dress skirt back over your legs.

The silky forest-green material just barely hits the ground. With some heels it'd be fine, you think to yourself.

Your eyes fall on the mirror once more, taking in the unusual sight of yourself in a dress. It wasn't something you'd be getting used to, but it feels good seeing yourself like this nonetheless. Feminine. Pretty, even. It is a nice contrast from the cargo's and military gear you usually have on.

A knock sounds on your door, and you're quick to try and fix that annoying piece of hair that doesn't want to stay tucked behind your ear. "You ready?" Your lieutenant's voice sounds from behind the door of your hotel room.

"Yeah! One second," You respond as the piece of hair falls right back to where it stubbornly wants to go. A soft groan escapes you and you're forced to give up. You grab another knife, just to be safe, and tuck it into one of the long sleeves where you previously placed a hidden knife wristband.

You hear your name being called from behind the door again, and by the tone of his voice, you can tell he's growing impatient. "We haven't got all day."

"Yeah, yeah, I'm coming!" You say, stepping over to the door and opening it while continuing, "I'm a woman, alright? I need some time to get ready."

Your eyes fall on Simon's face, or, at least the part that's visible. He has replaced his usual skull mask with a mask that covers the top half of his face, leaving his mouth and jaw open for you to look at. His eyes are also uncovered, showing the fact that he's focusing on your face and nothing else.

Or, that's what he's trying to do.

The corner of his mouth twitches, and if you weren't paying attention to his lips at that exact moment, you would've missed it.

"Well?" You ask with a knowing smile. "Convincing enough?"

With his lips pressed into a thin line, air blows out of his nose in a sigh. "You look pretty," he says.

Your lips purse, not quite satisfied. "Just pretty? Damn. Though I could've pulled some more from you with all this." You smile, looking back down over your dress.

"Pretty convincing, I mean," Simon says, mouth curled up into a smirk.

God, how much you love being able to see his lips. You love the way his mouth is expressive because he's not used to it being on display. You adore the way he doesn't realize you don't need to see more than his mouth to know what he's thinking.

"Pretty boring mask, I must say," You grin, looking up at the man towering over you. His mask is pretty boring compared to the skull he usually wore. It didn't have any print or paint. Instead, it was just plain black. It does suit him, you decide, as your eyes flicker over to the rest of his outfit. An all-black suit with a silver watch peeking just out from beneath the tailored sleeves. If you didn't have to go right now, you wouldn't mind spending the rest of the evening just looking at him. The thought of it is entertaining enough.

"And yours?" He says low, your name rolling from his tongue in the same low manner right after.

"Right, sorry," You say, turning around to grab your own mask.
