The case was now solved, but Sir Edward was still concerned because Henry himself said that he had murdered only Charlotte but not Will and Thomas. Somewhere, Sir Edward also found this plausible. What surprised him was the entry of the distant relative, Reginald. Sir Edward was waiting to meet Reginald, but one of the servants came and told him that Reginald did not want to meet him. While going back to the agency, Edward caught a glimpse of Reginald.

Now, it was all clear to him. He rushed to the headquarters and met Magnus, the owner of the agency. There, he learned that the new recruit working under him was Reginald. Reginald was the one who had asked the servant to add poison to the juice, and he was the one who cut off the electricity supply and then murdered John. Whoever Sir Edward suspected, Reginald murdered in order to gain power. Reginald was executed, and since there were no other relatives of the Harringtons, all the property was deposited in the government treasury.
