Originally, Jasper could care less about new hires, so when his father called him into his offices regarding their newest hire, he was understandably confused. "Dad, I don't understand why I need to watch her." Jasper said, leaning against his father's desk, "Jasper, I just need you to watch her for a while." Mr. Miracle responded. "I just don't understand why." Jasper said sternly, "Don't mind it; just do what's asked of you." Mr. Miracle said calmly.

After their conversation, Jasper just walked around the office, frustrated but curious about this mysterious hire he had for surveillance. Unexpectedly, he felt someone bump into him, "Hey! Watch where you are going!" he yelled, turning to see someone on the floor. Watching as she got up, he took in her features: amber eyes, curly hair, and short—at least shorter than he was.

As a response to his yelling, she gave him a rude look and huffed, walking away. But before he continued walking, the girl simply said "Rude," at least loud enough for him to hear. But all he did was roll his eyes and begin walking away.

"Hey, Soph," Jasper said, leaning on the receptionist's desk; she just gave a 'hmm' response, acknowledging him. "What do you know about the new girl?" Jasper asked. "Why do you need to know?" Sophia questioned, "I'm just curious." He said, shrugging. "Well, I know she's officially starting tomorrow; that's all I can tell you, I'm afraid." She said, "Confidential?" Jasper questioned, "Confidential." Sofia nodded.

"Hey Louis, hey Harmony," Jasper said, greeting the two. "Uncle Jasper!" Harmony shouted, "How is my favorite niece today?" Jasper asked. "She's your only niece," Louis stated sarcastically, but Jasper just ignored him. "Guess what!" Harmony said, jumping up and down, "What?" Jasper responded. "Mommy told me I have an aunt!" she shouted, still jumping around the place. Jasper looked at Louis with a questioning look, but all Louis did was shrug and continue reading his book.

Finding out she took the same bus as he did wasn't much of a surprise, but her staring at him for most of the ride wasn't expected. 'What's up with her?' Jasper thought, trying to focus on his phone but eventually looking back at her, and as a response, she looked away quickly.

Eventually, the bus slowed and stopped. Before getting off, Jasper made sure to keep his eyes on her, but once the bus stopped, she just disappeared. But when he looked in the direction of their building, he saw her practically running to the building, like a child to its mother. I followed her shortly after getting off the bus, watching her enter the building.

Walking through the entrance, "Good morning, Jasper." Sofia said, "Morning, Soph; by the way, did you happen to see that weird girl that arrived yesterday walk in?" he questioned. "Yeah, sure did; why?" Sofia asked. "Well, I saw her on the bus this morning, and she was just staring at me," he stated. "Oh," said Sofia, who was looking under her desk. 'Weird' he thought, "Well, she's probably wandering around the building, so you might be able to find her later." Sofia said, optimistically, "I guess, well, see you," he said, waving.

'I swear, I saw her over here,' Jasper thought, looking around the corner. He decided to shrug it off.

"Ahem," Jasper scuffed, standing behind her. She turned around quickly, almost bumping heads with him. "What the-" he heard her say before putting a hand over her mouth. "What is wrong with you?" she quietly shouted. "Why were you staring at me on the bus?" he asked, crossing his arms. "You didn't answer my question," she said, also crossing her arms. "I don't need to answer your question," he responded.

"Well, then I don't need to answer yours," she replied snarkily. Jasper just scoffed and walked away. 'She's a weirdo,' he thought, going back to his desk.

After work, he decided to take a stroll and maybe get a coffee. He walked on the sidewalk until he arrived at the bakery, bought some pastries, paid, and left. As he was eating his pastry, he spotted her a little ways ahead of him. 'What is she doing?' He thought, walking closer to her. It looked like she was being chased by someone, but instead of asking for help, she continued walking, eventually entering an alley and exiting like nothing had happened.

Jasper walked into the alley to see a guy who was not badly beaten but knocked out. 'Who is she?' Jasper wondered, looking out of the alley, but she was long gone.

Currently, he was in a restaurant, practically held hostage by both his brother and sister-in-law, with the strange woman, now known as 'Enya'. He did not say anything so far and was just observing her, looking for anything suspicious or off about her. "How about you, Jasper? Do you have any questions for Enya?" Sophia asked lightheartedly. "No," he said firmly, looking away and getting a pinch from Louis. "That hurt," Jasper quietly shouted as his brother. "Stop being rude," was all Louis said back.

Watching 'Enya' get up and gather her things was quite entertaining to Jasper, as she kept dropping things and either putting them on her desk or packing them away. 'Well, I need to watch her, so I should pack up,' Jasper thought, stretching and gathering his things.

"Bye, Sophia; see you tomorrow," Jasper said, bidding Sophia farewell. "See you, Jasper," Sophia said back. The walk to the bus stop was uneventful; if you don't count, Enya almost fell multiple times on the way.

The bus ride was peaceful as always, but as they approached Enya's stop, he didn't see her just sitting but sleeping as well. He sighed, walking over to her and shaked her awake. "Hey, what's your problem?" she said rudely, probably from waking up. "You're going to miss your stop," he responded. Looking at him, she gets up and lightly shoves him out of the way as the bus slows. "Thanks, I guess," she says to him. He gives her a look, and she walks off.

Getting home, he makes dinner and watches TV. Before going to bed, he asks himself, 'Why did I help her?'. Maybe because he felt bad that she might miss her stop, he didn't know, but before pondering about it more, sleep took over his senses, and he passed out.
