Waking up the next day was easier today, but mentally preparing herself for the events that followed was not on her to-do list. Getting ready for work was rather calming; she had taken a shower and put on a comfortable outfit, one that was appropriate for the office setting, thankfully.

Having locked her door when she arrived home, she left her apartment to check out the surrounding area, trees, a nearby park where children were playing, and couples walking around in the early hours of the morning. It was all so peaceful—something so foreign to her.

Eventually stumbling upon a relatively small and well-hidden cafe, she ordered coffee and a small pastry while looking out the window next to where she sat. "Order for Enya!" yelled the baristo. She thanked him and walked out, taking a short stroll to the bus stop. 'I should have got something for Sofia,' Enya thought, feeling a little guilty.

After waiting for a while, the bus arrived, and after boarding, she took a look around and landed her eyes on someone. 'So we take the same bus. What a coincidence.' Enya thought to herself, It was the rude guy from yesterday.

Standing and looking at his phone, 'If he wasn't so rude, I could almost say he was good-looking,' Enya thought, staring, eventually catching his eyes, and looking away quickly.

Thankfully, the bus had stopped, so Enya had gotten off, speed-walking towards the building where she would be working. "Good morning, Enya! What's got you all freaked out?" Sofia asked, a little concerned. "I need you to hide me quickly," Enya said, panicking.

As a response, Sofia moved herself a little bit, enough for Enya to hide under the reception desk. Soon after, the sound of footsteps entered the building. "Good morning, Jasper." Sofia said, "Morning, Soph; by the way, did you happen to see that weird girl that arrived yesterday walk in?" Jasper questioned. "Yeah, sure did; why?" Sofia asked. "Well, I saw her on the bus this morning, and she was just staring at me," Jasper stated. "Oh," said Sofia, giving Enya a glance and smirking.

"Well, she's probably wandering around the building, so you might be able to find her later." Sofia said, optimistically, "I guess, well, see you," Jasper said, waving. Before Sofia could say anything, Enya quickly got up and scurried away.

The rest of the day was uneventful unless you included the many attempts of Enya dodging Jasper at every moment. 'Finally, I can go home,' Enya thought, signing, relieved from the work she had just finished. "Ahem," Enya heard from behind her. Looking to see where the noise had come from, she turned around, almost bumping heads with Jasper.

"What the-" Enya was cut off by a hand on her mouth shortly after hitting it away. "What is wrong with you?" Enya quietly shouted to not get the other employee's attention. "Why were you staring at me on the bus?" Jasper asked crossing his arms, "You didn't answer my question," Enya said, also crossing her arms. "I don't need to answer your question," Jasper responded.

"Well, then I don't need to answer yours," Enya replied snarkily. To that, Jasper just scoffed and walked off. 'What a weirdo,' Enya thought, picking up her stuff. Shortly after, she made her way to the entrance and waved goodbye to Sofia. 'Maybe I should walk home,' Enya thought, considering she didn't know the area that well. A walk could give her an advantage in the long run.

So, Enya started walking, taking in the serenity and mood of the midday. Not many people were out, considering most were still at work or just getting home. Before getting home herself, she stopped by a small market, picked up a few things, paid, and continued home until she was stopped by someone.

"Can I help you?" Enya asked, but all the person did was stare at her, breathing heavily. Although it was an alarming sight, Enya continued walking, ignoring the person until she reached an alley, knocking the person out, and soon after arriving back home, putting her groceries away. Cooking wasn't Enya's best skill, so when she had to cook for herself, it was less than ideal.

As a result of her lack of cooking skills, she had killed multiple ingredients. If you look close enough, you can see their little spirits floating away from their original form. After finishing and eating her simple but disastrous meal, she got ready for bed. Looking up at her ceiling and mapping out the cracks and the molding that was used, she eventually fell asleep.
